46A big fenced in playground that has four slides four swings two normal and two toddler. A seasaw, two flying foxes, musical bridge that has buttons you stand on and a wobble bridge, small maze where you press buttons and hear voices of kids playing marco polo and other games it has mirrors and art work in it. Three spin poles that you can stand or sit on, sand pit, small rock climbing wall with rope wall and rope ladder, a three person merry go round swing which has bat wings. Two tables undercover with bench seats and other seats around, barbecue with two hot plates and two drinking taps
It's a nice place for relaxation. It is family friendly, has bbq grill for summer outing and kids' playground. Walkers, joggers, kayakers will enjoy this place too!
Love this protected park for the kids. Lots of hidden surprises, like the maze, flying fox and best of all it’s fenced so safe for little ones. Had a large car park, bathrooms and bbq facilities too.
Love it! Great for young children and toddlers. We went in a super hot day and didn't even feel it. It has a great sand pit and table area with lots of shade. It's all fenced. No dogs allowed
Its a really good place to have a swim in the clean water of the Yarra river, the kids loved it there's a great park for kids, bbq area. Beautiful spot.
Toilet water is fresh and tasty - way better than my mum's boyrfriends house.
Children were rude and kept touching my ferret. I called the police and they booked me for indecent exposure, bummer
What a great place to touch base with nature for all ages. The play ground is awesome for kids.
Limited tables, so take your own or a blanket if it's busy.
Wonderful playground. Well maintained and felt so close to nature.variety of play equipment for kids to play even different age group. Playground has toilet in a convenience location.so that with little kids parent do not have to move a lot.love the maze and sundial. These are unique in this playground. In a gist, this playground has enough challenging equipment for different age group kids. Only drawback is sometimes its hard to find nearby parking spot but there are plenty street parking in surrounding area. It also has an awesome walk. You can spend walking jogging in a beautiful reserve.
One of the best gated playgrounds in the area. Good for our special needs children and teenagers.
Brilliant playspace, well shaded and full of native plants. Very cool map and key that my 3yo found fun, like a scavenger hunt. And she adored the mosaics and colourful footprints and river stone snakes and things set into the pavement and gardens. All in all a beautifully planned and we'll thought out space that genuinely adds to the environment it's set in.
Swings, flying fox, water play and sandpit, nature play, small slides, maze, musical bridge, bouncy see saw, toilets, drinking fountains. Parking is free, but not especially abundant.
This is one of my favourite playgrounds in Melbourne. On most playgrounds you're lucky if there is at least a sunsail or something providing a little bit of protection from the harsh sun in the summer months. This playground has lots of shady trees and bushes making it almost feel like a little fairy forest. If you're on your own and have to deal with multiple kids beware though. It's impossible to keep them all in sight especially on busy days. But at least it's completely fenced off.
Also don't miss checking out the suspension bridge over the Yarra.
My partner and I love this area and the walk along the Yarra river. There’s some BBQ areas and also a playground as well which is great for kids.
Great place for kids, families and friends. Lots of play equipment for the kids and BBQ facilities available. Great walks as well
Fun little place to take a younger family. Safe play space and good facilities, great tracks to walk on day or night.
Easy parking. Finns Reserve is a nice, large circuit walk that extends a long way now. Kid's playground and bbq & tables under cover
Wonderful place, lots of kids. Lots of facilities for children, and they also have a barbecue. The entire children's playground is fenced. I think it’s one of the better children’s playgrounds in Melbourne. It seems ideal for organizing a children's party.
Fantastic playground. Two flying foxes heaps of swings, BBQ facilities, slides, and heaps of climbing structures. A fun maze, lots of shade, car parks either side. Definitely go.
Great spot, lot's of entertainment for the kids, bbq's, swings, sand pits, flying fox and a maze
I didn't know this gem of a place even existed, only found out about it yesterday when I decided to bike further on the bike trail.
Fantastic playground with the lot. Two flying foxes, heaps of swings, a climbing structure, slides, play areas including a giant sand-pit with lots of toys, two electric BBQs under shade with tables, drinking fountain and toilet facilities, easy access and heaps of parking, right next to a walking/cycling track. Heaps of fun, exercise and laughs.
