Woks N Dumplings reviews
26 So salty the the dog didn't even eat it.
Ordered online at 6.15 for 7.15 pick up. Food was ready at 7.40.
I've eaten here in the past and it was fine, but this meal was terrible. I won't risk it again, there are plenty of other options for noodles in town.
Absolutely love coming here, the food is top notch, the staff are lovely. Did I mention how good the food was?
Just yuk. Get a packet of 2 minute noodles and a jar of Kan Tong stir-fry sause for the same flavour experience. If you let everyone in the supermarket jump the check out line ahead of you, you could also have the same wait time experience before you actually get your food.
But seriously, I was so dissapointed. The Dim sims and the noodles were rank. The Dog ate the dim sims, but even they found the noodles too salty and didn't eat them!
Really great food! Though I have to give some feedback.
We bought 3 BBQ Pork dumpling soups at around $24 each which equates to $72! That wasn't including delivery! We would love to shop with you much more though the price is prohibitive and in the range of a top restaurant experience! To feed a family of four is over $100! Not to diminish what you do, though I think you can appreciate that the price point is a little over the top. I would be prepared to pay anywhere from $11 - $15. Hope you can take this information on board without taking offence. Take care.
Best place in Kangaroo Flat and surrounds for Chinese takeaway. Prices are very reasonable and service is good even when they are busy, which is nearly always.
The food is absolutely wonderful, I really really enjoyed it, but I placed an online order and ended up waiting over 30 mins. The people there seemed a bit unorganised/didn't know what they were doing/under pressure. It was genuinely frustrating at the time but as soon as we ate the food it was actually worth it! I would just place an order by phone or in person
The Dumplings were terrible, overcooked outside and rubbery pork inside.
The terriyaki chicken tasted like noodles with honey dumped on top.
First and last time I order there!
Best dumplings in bendigo so far! The family working there makes a big effort to pay attention to detail.
One of the best nasi gorengs I’ve ever had. The prawn crackers weren’t oily either. Definitely a place I’d return to
Absolute nightmare time at the M. C. G.flavorless very below.par dishes. Sambal combination (spose to be a spicy dish), and sweet and sour pork (no flavour again). Must have been a bad night in the kitchen.
Called to politely complain but due to a language barrier the staff member just said thank you.
Not very nice at all dumpling where boiled in water and tasted foul swimming in water not steamed like they advertise had one tiny shrimp inside prawn dumplings and some horrible paste inside won’t be going back
First experience was good, tasty and hot.
Second time around thought I’d spend a bit more money.
Garlic Prawns - not hot in temperature, next to no garlic flavor, was insipid and unseasoned bloody awful.
Fried Rice was warmer but again no seasoning or had any flavor. Thank god I had a bottle of ABC sweet soy to salvage the flavor. I will not be going back. I’m not going to give this a rating, this place - very very poor and inconsistent. I had to give one star or I could not post my review- smart buggers
Never thought I’d say this but Hungry Jacks would have been cheaper and tastier
So this is a wonton and bbq pork soup - no bbq pork and hopeless customer service. Won't be wasting our time or money again.oh and the stock base tastes like dirty dishwater - blah!
I was shocked how cheap it was and I unfortunately got what I paid for. Food tastes like garbage
I'm prepared to give them another try Post-COVID.
Noodles and pork buns tasted very strongly of freezer burn and were, sadly, inedible as a result. I acknowledge that all businesses are doing it tough at the moment and want to support the locals but I can't see myself going back in any hurry at this point.
This place is not for vegans or vegetarians when it comes to hygiene
If personally don’t like when same tongs are used to pick meat are used for vegetables
Our favourite secret! Very efficient and delishiously fresh food and thankyou for the best customer service.
Tried this place because our local was on holidays and it was delicious, we had char kwei teow, szchuan beef and laksa - all were really good. Thanks for the tips to order in store to save $$.
Make sure you order in the store! I ordered online and it was over $13 extra! Dishes that are $11 in store are $13.50 online.
Super friendly staff. And they can make all there menu in minutes. Definitely worth checking out as it is very tasty.
