Wishbone / Moon88 Cafe & Restaurant

Absolutely loved the food and coffee, staff are so friendly and attentive. The food is so creative and everything they put on the plate works together. This now on the list of my favourite Elsternwick cafes. We will be back

Came here as I am a local and have been following the cafe on social media. Definitely wanted to support local and loved their socials! Unfortunately the whole experience was a letdown. We waited 45 minutes for two meals at lunch, and they only had 6 other people seated. The staff were so kind and apologetic so there may have been something going on. Coffee and chai were great. However the “crispy chicken burger” was not crispy, it was a flat, thin piece of chicken not fried/battered or coated in anything. The bun was not fresh either. Overall really dry. Very expensive and confused menu, with meals ranging from $25-35. All of the dishes have fruit on them which is strange and doesnt work. Hope they find their way and maybe simplify the menu!

Great restaurant, great aesthetics, lovely staff and delicious food, definitely would recommend! If you’re looking for a cosy cafe/restaurant tucked away in Elsternwick I would really recommend this place.

One point of feedback though, the menu is a little hard to read as the characters are too close together and so individual letters fold in on each other, aside from that small issue, everything is great.

Had lunch here few days back. The food is awesome especially the zucchini and corn fritter. The coffee is superB. The only downside if they can play some good cafe music instead of some loud songs of their own. (It’s a lil but noisy and confusing) Would definitely come back here for their amazing food!

Popped up in this cafe last week and had something very innovative! Haven’t had a brunch that can delight my taste buds like this for a while….

If you're looking for a quality brunch spot in Elsternwick, you won't be disappointed with Wishbone. It's a spacious cafe with a modern interior just off the main street. It's nice if you're looking for a quiter cafe to relax.

We ordered the avocado toast, beef burger and coffees. Both dishes were delicious. The smashed pumpkin on the base of the avo toast really made it a memorable dish - I loved the combination of them both. And the avocado rose was stunning! My partner thought the burger was done well and really enjoyed the curly fries.

Will definitely be back to try some of their other dishes!

Best coffee i found on this trip to Melbourne.so nice. Food here was great too, somewhat healthy without losing the real food aspect.you will be satisfied. Service was good too, an all round pleasant experience.with great coffee.

Wishbone Cafe has new owners. I tried their coffee yesterday. Wow. So smooth! Their new menu is excellent. Quality all the way. Once people discover this Cafe, they will be pleasantly surprised.

First time going to Wishbone and it was amazing! Coffee was delicious, food was incredible and the service was top notch! A great experience all round. Thank you!

Please look this amazing and perfect plate that I ate today it was just perfect! Since a long time I was looking a cafe like this, serving all fresh with good presentation and good quality of the ingredients aswell. No words to describe this

I had a chicken burger and it was delicious. Friendly staff and great place to have a meal. Highly recommend.

This place is great. I just got a toastie and it was delicious! The service was also really friendly and accommodating.
