Nature of treatment: Double Knee Replacement recovery, miscellaneous upper and lower back/leg treatment,

Kit (Wise Physiotherapy) provided me with a personalised and holistic approach to optimise my recovery / rehabilitation, whilst establishing and maintaining that trusting relationship essential in support.

Kit provided individualised sessions, extending beyond the typical mainstream approaches where appropriate.

Kit pursues a whole of person approach, with consideration not only of localised treatment but also looking at where I wanted to be and what I wanted to achieve. She supports me in exploring and identifying strategies for implementation into life in a way that considers family / lifestyle / work etc. Her approach encourages my growth at all times, and interprets my body experience and presents it back to me in a way that makes sense.

I have really appreciated the collaborative design for each session, with use of targeted body techniques plus sessions in the gym allow for client-led exploration of body and movement. I have also found her use of whiteboard planning and summative notes really useful for each session to show progression, as a record, and to maintain focus on my goals. This also allowed me to reflect on my experiences between sessions.

Her facilities are in a great location and feel safe and comfortable. Kit has amazing communication skills, and she is easy to deal with from an administrative perspective. She is also easy to deal with from a Veterans Affairs perspective.

Importantly, Kit tolerates my jokes and meets them with better ones. She has nice indoor plants.

Basically, KIT IS WISE, she puts the therapy in physio, and is also a good egg:) HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
