Wise Guys Pizza 'n' Pasta

I almost, *key word* ALMOST did not want to rave about this pizza place because I don’t want one of my favourite pizza place to become busier, so slower delivery pizza for me. (I’m joking) But good things needs to be shared. I love this place, these guys always deliver. Reasonably priced and generous toppings. Would recommend!

After work today I went there and So I tried new pollo avocado it’s really delicious thank you for made my day

Don't order from here on menulog, uber eats etc. They refuse to accept/honour orders. Placed and paid for an order, restaurant refused to honour it, still haven't received a refund.

Great pizza but it was the second time in a row they stuffed up my order

Edit: Quality and flavour has really dropped off. Not sure if it's a change in supplier or what but pretty bad.

Ordered pizzas that were delivered super cold and clearly some pieces were missing…cut in a haphazard manner. If it is a last minute order then practice cancelling it rather than cutting corners and serving low quality food to customers…Really disappointed

They do the best "The lot" in south melbourne/southbank area. Good service, great pizza, reasonable pricing. This wise guy is a made man in my opinion.

I just enter in the shop at 5: 42 on 11 june 2021. The black indian lady so rudely say me “can u wait outside”. She dont even bother to ask me what are you after. So rude and disrespectful. Will never come here next time if they wont know how to treat humans.

Due to lockdowns, ive been lazier to cook these days.have ordered from these guys over the last few weeks and couldnt recommend them enough.food is always HOT and full of flavour.good quality stuff!

Took an hour to get food. Food was dry and not cooked well and my friend found hair in her food. It was not a busy night, but worst service I have ever experienced. Go ANYWHERE else.

Staff are terrible, just terrible. Alway say the pizza will take 15 minutes but it could be 30 minutes, might be 10. Just no way to know. And they don't care.

I have tried ordering from Wise Guys many times as I have enjoyed their pizzas. Sadly after several orders that were declined today I went down to collect my order. 5 minutes away. After waiting nearly an hour to receive a message saying it was canceled. I rang the shop to be told it was Uber Eats fault. I will never order from Wise Guys Again. Very disappointed.

It's upsetting to have to write this review, because I've ordered from here before and loved the quality of the pizzas. But after my last experience, I will never order from Wise Guys again.

We ordered 3 pizzas on Labour day (March 8th) at 6: 50 pm. One was specifically ordered to be gluten free due to a serious health condition of one of our guests. We were told there would be a 45 minute wait for the pizza delivery, which was understandable considering they were one of the few places open during a public holiday. However when our pizzas arrived at 7: 40 pm, one of the pizzas was not one we had ordered. It was an ordinary pizza without a gluten free base.

We called immediately, informing them of the issue. We asked that they please send the gluten free pizza as soon as possible, and to please write on the box indicating that it was gluten free to avoid any mix up with the delivery again. The man on the phone apologised for the blunder, and informed us that it would be sent "as soon as possible" but that there would be a wait due to all delivery drivers being out and it being a busy night.

At around 8: 15 pm we called again, requesting an update on the pizza. They informed us that they had not yet made the gluten free pizza and that we would have to wait for the orders before us to be completed. The man on the phone was unprofessional as we expressed our dissatisfaction with the wait.

The third time we called was around 8: 40 pm, when we asked for another update on the pizza. We were informed that it had been made, but that it was now cold and would have to be remade. We were also told that all the delivery drivers were out and that we would have to wait until they were able to arrive. We expressed that this was unsatisfactory, and that we had been waiting almost 2 hours for this pizza. As soon as we informed the man that it had been 2 hours, his entire demeanor changed. Suddenly he became helpful, saying that he would personally see that the pizza would be made and that he would pay personally for an Uber to take and deliver the pizza for us.

At 9: 20pm our gluten free pizza FINALLY arrived via an Uber, along with a box of complimentary chips (see photos). I do appreciate that we were given the free chips and that the employee at the end went out of his way to get the pizza delivered, but at that point it was too little too late. We had waited over 2 hours for the gluten free replacement pizza, had had our complaints disregarded, and felt disrespected on the phone.

It's understandable that this was a busy and stressful night for the staff, but after the first phone call I would hope that they would prioritize fixing the mix up. Making a customer with a health condition have to wait over 1 hour and a half longer for their pizza is completely inconsiderate. The unprofessionalism of the man on the phone was disappointing, and it was infuriating that the pizza box had not been marked as "gluten free" as we had requested multiple times over multiple phone calls. It should not have taken so long for the employee to take our complaints seriously and for the pizza to have been prioritised.

Unfortunately, despite loving the quality and taste of the pizzas, I will never be ordering from this company again.

They should let go of that rude Indian employee who hangs up on customers after misbehaving with them!

My local go-to pizza and pasta and chicken joint since they opened (literally across the road from my home).
Have tried many of their offerings over the years. They'll even quite happily make me a pizza to my own original recipe! Very successfully. As a fussy eater, they are very tolerant of my needs and happy to cater to that requirement. I feel they are like family now.

Ordered a late night dinner here via UberEats. We ordered 2 pizzas - a small Untouchable, and a medium Gangster Chicken.

Took 40 minutes to receive the pizza, it was warm but on the colder side by the time we received it.

The Untouchable pizza was alright, the chicken pizza, on the other hand, was terrible. It was so dry that it was hard to swallow. I don’t think I’ve ever had a pizza this bad before. Even my housemate had to add tomato relish to make it edible. The taste wasn’t great either. We requested for extra bbq sauce on the chicken pizza and spinach on the side, and were very disappointed to find the spinach on the pizza and without extra bbq sauce. The chicken pizza tasted like it was over baked. I also requested for chilli flakes/oil on the side but sadly didn’t receive any.

I’m sorry but I don’t think I’ll be coming back for more. For any foodie or anyone who appreciates a good Italian pizza, this is definitely not the place to go.

I always buy Pizza from here for my team and has always been hot and fresh. Ordered chips which have always been amazing today had to throw out because they were cold when they arrived.check the date on the drink before the driver leaves. My drink expired in June 2020 and i paid $5 for it. Will give this place a miss for a while i think

Very unprofessional staff. And so cold and stale food served. Never recommended to anyone who prefer good quality food
