Winston Apartments

Got really worried reading the bad comments but the experience was nothing like that. We got a room on level 52, and the view was out of this world. The room was clean, the elevators were usable. They notified the bond beforehand and released it on time. It only took less than 10 mins on tram to the CBD. There’s nothing else i can ask for, 100% will be back for my next stay in Melbourne.

Online pictures do not give a true representation of this apartment! Couch, carpets, mattresses, pillows, linen all heavily stained. Bathroom was dirty with hair in the corners of bathroom floor & in shower. Sofa bed was broken so unable to be used. Dining chairs were broken as screws were missing so unsafe to be used. Dishwasher & fridge both stunk. Cigarette butts on balcony. Smoke alarms were both disconnected. Furniture in both bedrooms & lounge were all damaged. Limited amenities, no access to pool or gym. Only 1 lift in use for whole building & that was broken 4 of the 5 days. Only 1 set of keys, so unable to do separate activities. Interrupted by a fire inspection that was meant to be carried out on the day we checked out. All in all a very disappointing experience. Do not recommend this place at all!

Amazing views a perfect location, and just so convenient. Loved our week stay and will stay there anytime we go to Melbourne!

Prices were decent. Location is great, came for AO, there's a tram station right outside that leads straight to Melbourne park that was free. Also nearby southern cross station so luggage wasn't an issue. Lots of food around here too. Checking in was a little confusing, no clear signs pointing to the lobby but a quick call will direct you to the correct place. Service by Zoey and her colleagues were good, always a phone call away when we had issues with anything. Apartment was simple and clean, gym had basic but decent equipment, pool and jacuzzi were great though the sauna was a little faulty. Would recommend for location and price.

Not much to complain about.
Maybe clean the oil and lint out of the rangehood over the gas stove.
Excellent access to public transport and skybus to. Airport.

Stayed 2 nights and really impressed by the 2 bedrooms apartment, views, pool & spa
The lady at check in was great. They come down to pick you up from ground level and my son had a panic attack getting off the lifts on the 33rd floor. She was patient and gave us all the time we needed to get him to recover.
We also got on site parking for $30 per day
The location is also perfect, right in the heart of Melbourne

Great location just cross the road from southern cross.got both mc and kfc downstairs for late night.nice and tidy room.view was phenomenal.great set up even with netflix intergrated.front staff were friendly and patient.they guide us through check in and parking.good value for the location and easy transportation.will definitely visit again.

Clean and tidy. Was a bit tricky getting up to reception and parking but staff were helpful.

Spectacular views of Melbourne's Docklands precinct, and the bay and yarra. Well serviced, cleam, comfortable and modern with all usual amenities and comforts. Reception staff really lovely and professional.

Problems since start. Going to floor 33 to register is a hassle if you don't have a key to get access to the building. Rooms is dirty. Found socks and on side probably from another visitor. The "heated" pool was freezing. The spa out of service. Get 1 start because is located close to the train station.

Had a great stay here. Central to everywhere we needed to go. The staff are friendly and the room itself was very clean and had a fantastic city view. Must try the pool and spa on upper level (have to book in time slots due to Covid). Highly recommended for a casual stay and perfect for business too. Will be back for sure.

Walked in and walked straight out and asked for a refund. Apartment was filthy, certainly didn’t look like it did in the photos. Carpet was badly stained, couch had stains everywhere including crumbs from someone’s brownie. Room was extremely hot, tried to turn on air cond and noticed the top was filled with a lifetime of dust. Floor needed a good clean, marks all over everything.
The room we had needed a totally overhaul and a deep clean.
Had to check in up the toad then drive around the block back to the carparking, then walk back into the street to enter another building to get to the room.
Wouldn’t recommend anyone to stay here.

Have stayed at Winston Apartments twice now and both times have been perfect. From checking in until checking out. Great position in the city close to everything. Excellent service and all modern conveniences. Will definitely be coming back.

Great location on Collins St close to everything. Public transport, restaurants and all the best venues in Melbourne. Modern clean interior, fully functional kitchen and parking. Overall my favourite place to stay in Melbourne and if you don't mind the heights the views are second to none.

Unbeatable location. Clean fully equipped apartment with fantastic view. Staff helpful. Car parking easy. Will stay here next time.

Stay away from these apartments! Since Corona began, these company rents this places to quiet dodgy and homeless people. Their guest are disgusting and I would not want to sleep in these beds. Being on hard drugs, vomiting down the balcony, throwing food everywhere are only a few issues I experienced with them in the last weeks.

Absolute scam! NEVER go here, you will not only have GREAT difficulty finding this shady place.but you'll also not be advised until last minute that they require an extra $200 from you.they will also hold your money for 2 days so you cannot book elsewhere.

The apartment was nice in the photos, but my partner and I had a bad experience and ended up leaving a night early.
There was dust all over the back of the tv, the chairs in the kitchen were not clean, the cupboard above the stove was sticky, the fan & light above the stove didn’t work, there was dried urine behind the toilet (which we could smell immediately as we entered the bathroom), the desk in the spare room was not clean, which wasn’t a big bother but we were just shocked at how something advertised as clean was anything but that. It was evident the effort put towards the cleanliness overall was lazy. My partner did complain to reception & someone came up to clean the bathroom, but all the cleaning service did was spray freshener in there because everything was exactly the same. They asked my partner if dust bothered us, which was not a professional way to handle a situation like that.
My partner was refunded parking and they said if we left that night, we would not have to pay for that night. So we packed our stuff and left. No refund for the first night understandably (we only booked for a weekend, VALENTINES weekend).
Disappointed with the service.
