Wing Shop reviews
7 The wings were good, flavourful and the sauces are nice too.
One downside is that the coating didn't stick to the wings as well, so some of them fell off the wings as you eat.
But taste is the priority, and presentation second.
And they were great!
I would drive far for it, but if I'm in the area I'm definitely coming back.
Stopped here before a Saturday night out with the boys, could not have chosen better
Got the cheesy chips they’re good definitely want to come back and try more items the menu looks really good and reasonably priced
I'd discovered Wingshop last year, late one night while walking home from a gig. But only decided to try it a few weeks back.
For a convenient, on the go takeaway, the wings are quite good. I don't know how long they were sitting in the display, and I ate them 15 min after collection but they still had a decent crunch. 1 of the 3 was far juicier than the others. I can imagine them being great when fresh out of the fryer. I think they're happy to cook up fresh ones if you can wait.
The burger was good. Well balanced flavour and not too heavy on the sauce. I was a little worried when I saw sweet chili in the ingredients (which a lot of places put too much) this burger though a little messy to eat, was amazing for the $12-$13. The bun is a classic old school brioche and the pickles have a very similar flavour profile to that of a McDonald's Cheeseburger (if you like that). The chicken fillet itself was big and overflowing (in a good way) crispy on the edges and very tender throughout.
I reckon Wingstop should be more popular.especially on late nights when not much else is open. It's offering a very niche option along Smith street for a quick affordable meal and don't want to resort to the many kebab shops.
The shop is very clean and Service was incredibly friendly.
I had a delicious chicken burger from here but what a shame i got food poisoning! I've been vomitting for hours. Please take care in future when making chicken!
I jsut bought a chicken burger, bit into it only to realise that the chicken wasn't cooked properly. It was raw. I was rushing for my tram so I couldn't take it back but this is not acceptable. Raw chicken will easily put someone out for a few days and this shop needs to ensure safe food practices are taking place at all times. I would please like a refund when the owner reads this review. The guu who served me was super lovely, but this will not be enough to stop someone getting seriously sick. If I get sick in the next 24 hours I will be holding this establishment responsible. UNACCEPTABLE!
