Great energy from the live performance on Friday nights. Great attentive service. Locals love this place.

The live music on Sunday night was excellent! Great vibe and friendly service. Can BYO food from neighbouring take away venues for an early dinner.

I've only been once a month or so ago, possibly longer, i was advised to go there by a friend from work who wanted to fix a sticky situation at work, regarding a newcomer, to show my loyalty, it backfired badly, the guest that night said something on purpose to upset me, left devastated, apart from that, very welcoming venue, and atmosphere, a stone throw from the station, very handy, comfy, good venue to drop in for a pizza (BYO), brilliant sound system, definitly 9/10 apart from my nightmare experience.

Great Place, great live music program, staff are awesome and always pleasant, great wine selection both as drinks and as a bottle shop. And they allow customers to bring take away food in. Brilliant. A real gem of a place and not enough great places like them left.

Small cafe that provided excellent live music and great service. No meals in house, but, they had menus from surrounding businesses, let us pick what we wanted, then went and got it for us. This was our first visit and the experience was worth it.

Excellent service and cozy atmosphere. In Gardenvale, on the edge of Brighton, and just next to Gardenvale Station (1 stop from Elsternwick) is a quaint little wine bar with live music Friday through Sunday night. The best local music acts play at this venue (normally live music runs 6-8 Sundays its 5 to 7 from memory but check hours). A perfect wine bar for locals and anyone wanting a cosy low-key bar/pub/venue to have a chat on a winter's night or an afternoon music set on a Sunday. If you're wanting a quiet place, go earlier in the week! If you want to mingle in crowds or dance, try Friday or Saturday night or Sunday afternoon music around 5 pm.

Highly recommend for anyone new to the Brighton area, or anyone wanting a meeting place for a few quiet drinks during the week or some live songs from 70s 80s 90s etc on the weekend evenings (dancefloor gets busy when the music is good and the locals are very friendly/welcoming). Reasonably priced wines too -they have take away wine or by the glass. Gardenvale station is near Elwood and just before Brighton station stops. #Brightonwinebar Gardenvale wine bar Elsternwick area wine bar. Perfect for over 40s and over 50s but attracts all ages.

Great spot for catchup with friends. Band starts n ends too early saturdays tho. Must be a licensing thing.

Very popular venue, owners are very friendly and happy for a chat. Live music Thursday through till Sunday.

Highly recommend.

Winelarder gig on Sat night 1st June was an ABSOLUTE TREAT for Michelle Argue's birthday. A big reason for that is the superb "party in our house" hospitality of mine hosts - Chris and Tony.as always

Such welcomg bar owners and lovely friendly patrons. Regular live music and you can order in a variety of takeaway local food and enjoy on the premises. Best of all worlds! I've been coming here for 15 years. Such a wonderful community:)

Boyfriend and I just stepped in for a quick drink before setting off out of town, service was friendly and the place was clean and super trendy!

Great little hideaway, Chris and Tony are great hosts. Good selection of wines or just grab a coffee.
Food selection is basic Tapas - fresh cheap and tasty.

Sometimes have live music which is a bonus.

Great local bar. Live music at various times. Wine available to take home. Basic food available. They also host group social meetings like school parent groups.

Great local bar - friendly service and good range of beer, wines and spirits. Cheese platters available or order in food from a range of restaurants on the street - Greek, Italian, Fish & Chips, Pizza.

Brilliant, well informed, friendly, fast& down to earth service, cosy surroundings, welcoming crowd- hard to leave!
