Wine More Cellars - Liquors Store, Bottle Shop

Don't go here if you're on a time crunch.

Travelled over an hour to get there to buy a specific bottle of wine they were the only Melbourne stockists of that I needed for a gift. I called to put it on hold and let them know I'd be in the following day.

Store opens 12pm but no-one actually arrived until 1pm (no answer to phone or social media). While waiting around Deepdene I asked some neighbouring businesses and was told they are known for being slack with opening hours. Wine also wasn't on hold for me, thank goodness it didn't sell out before I got there (can you imagine). Really disappointing.

The owner is awesome guy.
He has the gift of the tongue.
Very knowledgeable about wine and the art behind it.

Don’t go past this place without dropping in.

Smallish shop with an interesting mix of wines. Nice to see a 2017 Ata Rangi Pinot Noir there. Prices are reasonable too

New gem at Whitehorse rd. Loves the selections of wines here. The crew are very passionate about wines. And guess what. I would recommend fig gins. Ask them about the fig gins! Been to their sake (dassai50) tasting and wine tasting.
