My stay the place was a lifelong experience with staff amazing when u need someone to help these amazing supportive staff, My was a 10 day stay just an amazing experience to find myself I can't thank u guys from the bottom of my hart I really thank everyone at windana #just amazing work effort with working with the people that come in love the place coz an amazing opportunity for who won't there life's back

They helped me sooooo much several years ago. I became so much stronger.but now things are worse than ever and I just wish I had the opportunity to go back and save my life.but I know it's not easy getting back in

Some of the staff act very childish but overall I learnt lots and I'm still dry give this this place a go cheers

I LOVE this place.
Being a St. Kilda Native, one thing I have always Loved about this area is our organic sense of community; I had always wondered what secrets that inconspicuous place on the corner held.but it wasn't until I suffered great traumas, and ended up with c-ptsd, that I had no place to turn but to my local community services.

Personally, I don't have drug or alcohol problems, so I felt weird about going there.but I soon learned it's open to everyone in our community - our friends, familiy.people from all walks of life who need health and holistic support; whether recovering from something, or not.
The pricing is very affordable - generous, even - and has two options for unemployed/employed.
You know you'll be supporting something wonderful that benefits our community directly - no sneaky gov agendas.

I was in Windana several years ago. I found it great for detox. I had to go back a second time, as I relapsed. However, I was given details on counselling services. Admittedly, I still have the odd tipple, but nothing to the extreme that I had. What I learnt were 2 great things in counselling and that was Defer and Distraction (in other words delay and keep yourself busy).

I am looking to contact them again. I live with a cigarette smoker, and I am smoking like a chimney. I will probably need some counselling after this as well. Wouldn't be surprised, if it is purely a psychological addiction. However, recently it could've adapted into a psychical one.
