Willow Urban Retreat Cafe reviews
17We had breakfast on the weekend which at $99.45 for 3 people was probably on the pricey side thanks to the weekend surcharge but I enjoyed my refined sugar free banana pancakes which were visually stunning and incredibly tasty so I’d happily return to try more of the menu. It certainly had the health market captured as the clientele is highly plasticised in the face and highly pilatisised in the body but it was still a comfortable enough environment for my toddler and the non sculpted among us
Delicious food and great coffee.
Professionally serviced as well.
Highly recommended.
Hands down one of the best sushi bowls I've ever had. Scrumptious, uber healthy. (Chili sauce was a boon, though overall it is quite expensive.)
Light and airy space, clean and healthy vibes. Will be back for sure.
This week, I had the pleasure of arriving in Melbourne from the United States for the first time. Eager for a healthy and fresh dining experience, I stumbled upon this charming cafe. The warm welcome from the staff and the positive ambiance set the perfect tone. Allie, one of the staff members, offered fantastic menu recommendations and provided exceptional assistance throughout. Not only was the food reasonably priced, but it also exceeded my expectations in meeting my craving for wholesome dishes. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and without a doubt, I look forward to returning in the future.
Was quite disappointed as I’ve heard how good this place is!
Went in today on a Sunday PM, waited in line as it was full. However, two ladies who came after us was given a table immediately. When I asked the staff, she stated with a rather unpleasant tone “it’s because they came from the spa”, and walked away straight without much thought.
Food was above average. Will not be back, unfortunately. I do hope they will improve their staff service and system in seating customers.
Wow Super stylish fit out, very friendly staff and the food…AMAZING! Healthy and super delicious. My new fave.
Coffee was great and the food was middling at best. But the real reason for only 2 stars was a specific item on the menu. The Banana Pancake was not what was advertised. Less pancake, more a stodgy undercooked lump. Very disappointing but again the coffee was nice
Would recommend the sushi bowl, such a hearty dish with lots of greens. The matcha latte tasted a bit weak but the texture was nice and creamy.
Atmosphere is great. Staff friendly but the food is pretty AVG. You need a chainsaw to cut through the toast - and that's no exaggeration. That comes down to toasting their sourdough too early in their production process. They also wanted to charge me $4.95 for a replacement piece of bread, which I still couldn't cut through, until I had to remind them it was a replacement for the concrete piece.
Won't be rushing back anytime soon
The most beautiful and nice place I have ever visited in Caulfield. The food experience is top. Banana pancakes is my favorite meal. Such a great and friendly team. Definitely need to save this location.
When it first started, I loved it! The food was delicious with delicate flavours, and the coffee was always satisfying. The service was friendly and efficient.
However, the last couple of times, we experienced delays in service. We had to remind staff few times, despite this, the food and even coffees took a long time. The coffee didn’t taste good on my last visit. It was so bitter that I could hardly drink it.
I still give it a 3 star, because the atmosphere is nice and sophisticated, and the food kept its quality, however, I’m not sure if this will be enough to tempt another visit.
Beautiful cafe. Had the sushi bowl and mushroom toast. On the pricier side, portion/taste were normal.
My chicken toastie was incredibly salty on the day. Been here before and the mushroom toastie was pretty good then.
Beautiful cafe with great customer service. Unfortunately, a lot of the menu items were not available at that time, so I had to settle for something else. The matcha latte was nice. The sushi bowl was okay but could have done with more ocean trout to balance out the large portion of rice.
Favourite brunch spot in Armadale. The food is always of the highest quality. The staff here are lovely and attentive despite the fact that it is always so busy.
Notable breakfast items are definitely the Greens and Pancakes! Delicious.
I had the Restore with Talisa and it was divine. Talisa was very professional and pleasant and the whole experience was exceptional
Busy whole day! Even at 8.30am Saturday morning! We bumped into this Very Popular cafe on the street (with retreat next door) while we were waiting for someone visiting the laser eye surgery next door. It is very well located opposite the Goodlife gym opposite. The bright high ceiling decor with light colour furnishing is attractive! The healthy salad range seems to be very popular here! We went for their signature dish - pancake with the lot! Coffee was good too!
