We totally got ignored by our waitress several times. Dessert was completely misleading (basically was a "triffle, " not a mille- feuille) and extremely messy to eat.

Love this restaurant. Yummy espresso, Sambal cauliflower is delicious, Sambal is always on our indonesian menu, so it is yummy for me

We had delicious food, flavours to pleasant tasting flavours with a nice variety of food and drinks to select from the menu’s. Great place to go as a couple vs or with a group The Wildgrain restaurant caters for all. Highly recommend.

This delightful restaurant serves really delicious food, carefully prepared and presented. The portions are of a sensible size, allowing one to eat up a plate off the main menu and feel nicely satisfied instead of stuffed.

We had to wait just that bit too long to get a dessert menu and then we left without ordering because of lack of service. This was due to an apparent shortage of staff.

I wonder why it is that even the best restaurants don't do something about the noise level in their premises. Sound boards and/or carpeting would allow customers to enjoy conversation without having to shout at eachother. Many older people just give up and dine mostly in silence.
And hey! Why doesn't someone water the shrubs outside the front door?
Just to end on a positive note, the food is so good I'll go back even if I have to eat in silence.

Stumbled upon this gem, beautiful décor and fab food!
Everything was great, devoured our 3 dishes in 5 minutes.

Four of us dined at Wildgrain for dinner on a Friday night. It must be said, it was exceptional. We have eaten there previously and had wonderful meals over the years, but there was some small shift in menu, execution and service that took it from wonderful to perfection.

The wine list was great with local examples we hadn’t encountered after living here for a decade. And served at the perfect temperature.
The menu innovative and exciting both to read and to eat. A play on textures and flavours that you won’t encounter often.
The service was dedicated and unobtrusive with friendly professionalism.
Shall widely recommend. Thank you for a great experience.

The best chefs tasting menu we've ever had. Incredible food and fantastic service. I will dream of the crab croquettes for a long, long time. Amazing.

What an absolutely amazing experience. The food is 5 star as is the setvice. We had the crab and the quail for starters and trout and chicken for mains with a side of zucchini. My taste bud went to heaven. Congratulations to the staff and Chef.

Absolutely beautiful food and excellent service. Consistently the best restaurant in Mornington. Considering what some very average restaurants charge, I’d prefer to pay a fair price for excellent food and service which is what you get here.

The food here is great but the service is absolutely phenomenal. We've been here twice and we're always so impressed with how good the wait team are. Our fussy french grandfather even calls us later in the day to tell us how impressed he was with the restaurant!
