Whittlesea Bowls Club

Would NOT recommend for club functions. Food was well presented but all meat was dry and barely edible. Placed a “one drink per person” ban on the bar at 9pm. Couldn’t even get a drink for my partner and myself. How ridiculous. Supposed to be a night to relax and enjoy our end of presentations, far from it. You need to lift your game. We won’t be back.

Not just for bowls players. The club is a most pleasant place to visit, have a coffee, lunch or dinner.

The entrance for disabled customers is narrow but the machine diversity is good with a mix of old and new

Amazing food and service. Great to get out and have a little bowl for fun. Once the Reno's are completed this will be a super nice little club.

Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Great sense of community! Will certainly be returning in a regular basis!

We ordered take away Friday night and the meals were 11/10!
My partner and I got a Parma and schnitzel with chips and veg, and everything was perfect, just as it would’ve tasted had we been able to dine in!
We also ordered the garlic bread with cheese, and I don’t believe in my 35 years of life that I have encountered something quite as exquisite as this. I doubt I’ll meet a better garlic bread as long as I live.
Only a 20min wait for food as well- can’t wait to order again! Might be our new Friday night take away

Good food, but nothing spectacular. The usual items from a pub menu is executed well enough for me to be a regular there. It is a shame the lamb cutlets are not on the menu any more. Something different, one or two items, would be great for that little bit of variety that people would drive 15km further for. Staff is great, they know the menu and the service is good.

I've been living in Whittlesea for nearly 12 months now and I can't believe it's taken me this long to visit. A great meal, well priced, great atmosphere, kids got looked after with $10 meal including a drink and dessert. Monday was 1/2 price ribs. Highly recommend

Great service, friendly staff. Food is typical of this type of venue. Reasonably priced and generous serves. Not a long wait.

Bar staff are nice and beer is always cold. Procing of sofr drink is pricy which is a bit disapointig.

4 of us had dinner at the club last night. All senior meals.
My steak was lovely. My partner had bangers and mash which he enjoyed and all was plentiful, however, our friends had the fish. 2 little pieces not much bigger than the biggest chip on their plates. After speaking witb staff, the chef sent out a little bit more which was very nice of him to do but this exfra fish wasnt the same and actually had an off smell to it and also mentioned wax the fact that grilled fish shrinks on cooking. I myself, have never had this happen.
One expects only half serve of protein when ordering a seniors meal but this was ridiculous.
They will go back, but will not be ordering fish again

The food is nice but the back area for sport is plagued by multiple gangs, walking past makes me shiver in fear.
