Whelan The Warehouse

I got some beautiful custom made furniture from whelan the warehouse. Great service, friendly staff who helped me make my vision into beautiful pieces for my home. Fantastic quality I have been back for several more pieces for my home since. I highly recommend going to whelan the warehouse for the professional service, fantastic quality and great variety of choices in timber.

Very rude staff, specially the lady who answers the phone. Just hangs up. Very unprofessional.

Just started woodshop classes and had been told they were worth a visit. Great selection of dressed, raw and recycled timber. I explained the project I wanted to make and they gave great guidance and made sure to cut the long boards to manageable sizes for me. Will be back here

These guys were awesome- really helped us twice in a difficult situation with custom timber and refused to charge for the help

I'm a hobby furniture builder. I also don't write reviews. But Ollie at Whelan The Warehouse was awesome; he took the time, showed me my options, and gave me great advice. I know where I'll be buying timber for future projects.

I have used Whelans several times for my business Evolutio Physio in Richmond. We bought messmate to build the desks in our treatment rooms and blackbutt to make a large rectangular waiting room and co working space table.

I just read the review below and decided to give my opinion of whelans.

Everytime we've been in there to decide on wood and lengths the staff have been extremely helpful, patient and guided us on what they think would be good options.

I believe Whelans works extremely well, if you know what you want to make and are willing to make it yourself with the wood they supply following it being milled and cut to length.

If you're too lazy to glue it, sand it and stain it yourself, maybe just buy something from ikea and don't pretend you built something for dad.
