Westside Milkbar Take Away

Really good fish, chips and prawns. We hadn't been there before and we were all impressed by the quality of the food. The staff were lovely too.

We had flake, both grilled and battered and was really lovely and fresh. Best fish we have eaten for a long time. The chips were thick, nice colour and not over cooked. Scallops were lovely too. Would recommend and found ourselfs a regular fish and chip shop.

The worst burger with the lot only to find hair in ur burger, maybe tie ur hair up if ur cooking with food

Foods usually banger for the family.but recently my chips have been lacking barely any of how much I've payed its a shame the few chips also lack salt but other than that 100% recommend coming down! Amen

Ben bought me a gluten-free capricossa pizza for tea tonight. As usual the pizza was magnificent but the service was absolutely outstanding. Thank you all for a your A1 hospitality and service. Lea Osmond

NEW GOLD STANDARD FOR PIZZA
While visiting the area we decided to go here for pizza after reading the reviews and seeing the photos. With the first piece not finished, I said that it was the best pizza I have ever had and hubby agreed. The base was a nice thickness, cooked to golden perfection. Even better, it did not droop when it was picked up, so the generous toppings stayed on the pizza. We had a Meat Lovers - the meats were tasty and the BBQ sauce was not too sweet or too tangy. Pity it's our last night here.

Fish was processed, it used to be real fish! Ordered thinking I was getting real fish and got processed! Took one bite a threw the rest in the bin!

The pizza is not bad in all. However, the chip is not great, it’s soft not crispy, not much different from frozen chips from supermarket.

Normally have never had an issue with the service here! Myself and my four boys usually treat our selves when travelling from Wodonga to Echuca to stay, by buying a large box of chips with all sauces! Ever since I was a kid all sauces ment lots of SOY! VINEGAR! AND TOMATO SAUCE! I purchased a box last night, and the girl wrote down the order with knowing what I requested to be put on there! Got back to where I was staying and they had only put tomato sauce. So I called them up and politely let them know my frustration and immediately the replaced them with in ten minutes. I thought how nice of them! Picked them up a second time, got them back to where I was staying and they had only put tomato and soy, but no vinegar! It's only $8.00 but it's not the point. The treat for my boys and myself is the all sauces. I'll give them another go before I leave to go back home. Please get it right! All sauces means VINEGAR! SOY! TOMATO! NOT BARBECUE! Other than this west side take away is the best and only take away store in town worth buying from! The best owners of this business since 2003 when I first moved in around the corner, fantastic happy to always help smiling staff amazed at how good they handle the pressure as they seem to be always flat out! Pic below is left over from two boxes. My boys ate some of them, but where disappointed also.

Great place, great pizza, great chips but…
Today I got a milkshake from here and there was mold in it.
Not a great quality photo but there is mold in there.

I get my takeout from here regularly. The food is always hot and Fresh.
The people are really friendly.

The BEST pizzas around. Worth the drive over the bridge from Moama! Pizzas were tasty, filling and cooked fresh. Wasn't sure about the place when we pulled up - but don't let the old building fool you - food is great, and staff pleasant

Food is good. Could just go with a bigger patty in the burger. I ran out patty before the bun was done. But fish and chips are great.

Just read the menu.the West is best.
Pizzas are orsm with plenty of options to choose from.
Feed the family with a pizza meal deal or fish and chips deal.
The staff are all friendly and know the locals by name. It's hard not to get food from there all the time when your only a 2min walk away!

"The cashier took my order swiftly and even asked if I wanted chicken salt. Be still my beating heart! During the short wait for my food, any staff I happen to make eye contact with offered up a smile, which I swear made me think they were pumping hallucinating drugs out through the air system! Its nice to go somewhere they you don't have to pantomime, point and wave your arms around to get what you want. That's waaay too much exercise!
