PURE CHEATERS - STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE.

Purchased 1 KG of goat curry pieces. But they gave me 100% goat bones with FAT meat, which is completely un-eatable. Don’t call yourself a halal meat shop when your business model is based on fraud. I have bought goat curry pieces from other places, and they are way more quality and I don’t get just pure FAT meat.

These fraudsters have carefully selected bones and FAT meat only, and sells them as goat curry pieces. It is obvious, not even 1 piece had a proper non FAT meat. These are leftovers they have sourced responsibly to just gain quick dirty profits.

Never coming back to this store.

Stay away at all cost. These guys are just here to rip you off. Completely fraud.

And again, don't use the label HALAL on your store, because you guys are just full of dishonest, cheat and fraud.

I'm only giving 3 stars because I go here for over 7 years, but my recent experience wasn't so great. What you need to know about this place is, it's VERY BUSY and you won't be served right away unless you visit on a quieter weekday. On weekends it's very busy, and you will have to wait for a very long time for them to serve you. I once requested an urgent delivery, but they refused. Most staff are very well behaved, but one of the staff who is short, fair, and has beard, was very rude to me. He had a nasty attitude and started talking in his own language, most likely assumed I speak his language. However, I understood from his gesture that he asked me to head to the counter because that's where he pointed, but he was very angry and rude! He needs to fix his nasty attitude. He works at a meat shop, not at Porsche.

The worst place to buy halal meat.
I have bought meat many times from them but every other time they sell old meat. I have complaint directly at the shop many times that please give me fresh meat.but this was high time.never ever gonna buy from them.

Good place to do shopping. Good collection of fish and meat. Good thing about fish is that they have clear list of fish price. Very clean and good location. Rear parking available.

I asked for 1 kg of chicken curry pieces and they gave me 12 leg pieces and it is 750 grams and the rest is some big big pieces of bones. I was just cheated straight to my face.may be because i went there at the closing time they didn't want to say no. I could buy the same number of leg pieces separately if u wanted. Not good. Not at all appreciated. I wish I could attach a photo.

I bought goat leg the worker head to the back and replaced with curry pieces.
Become smart like nobody knows this but any experienced person can.
Bought ruined smelly onions too

We always buy meat from this shop. Amazing customer service. Meat here is always fresh. Also the veggies especially tomatoes and cucumbers are usually in cheap price while in other shops they are really expensive in winter months.

Requested twice to pack fresh meat, but was misleaded and frozen meat has been packed. Poor customer service. Wasn't expecting this from your team.

I would like to prefer to buy meat from here rather than buying from another place in Melbourne especially goat meat.

Meat is old and tough, we were chewing on spring lamb like gum. Their lebanses bread was falling apart like it was out of date. This is a constant thing with western halal meats

Best halal meats in Werribee.period! Always fresh meat and poultry. Friendly customer service and has a decent variety of groceries and frozen items. Highly recommended.

Usually I buy from you guys and never had an issue.
But today the chicken liver I bought got different color and it is smelling bad. Not edible.

I could not have written this review if it is a single piece, almost all the liver was like that.

You guys can clearly see while packing this and avoid this.

Please don’t sell this kind of meat and spoil your reputation.

Saviour for Bengali and Indian at large. We Bengali need fish and you get good collection of frozen fish here.
You will get "Gobindobogh chaal" (kalijeera or aromatic rice) here, along with Pui shaak (leafy vegetable), kochu, patali gur (jaggery).
Other common Indian brands are also available.

There is a wide range of fish choices as well especially their selection on Bangladeshi fish is gargantuan. The items are all moderately priced except for few imported items but you get what you pay for. The staffs are friendly and have a vast knowledge on the items they are selling. The shop is at a convenient location, just off Cherry St with ample parking facilities. I would definitely recommend Western Halal Meats Werribee.

Fantastic shop for your meat / poultry / fish (frozen) needs. They also stock fruits, vegetables and groceries (south Asian).

The best halal meat butcher in the west! Customer service is great and they've very flexible in meeting your demands. Unlike some other halal butchers who are too arrogant to cut the meat in a certain way. They've got a good collection of desi products and vegetables too. The veggies aren't always the fresh-est but they're very well priced.

While the quality of meat is good, they usually have plenty in stock, always cutting and chopping away to keep up with demand.

However, the service is the issue, with current chaotic times people walk in and push in to say they are next and this frustrates me when I wait patiently while holding my kids eager to run around is hard enough, have a ticketing machine so that your customers can get the service on time without people pushing in. This has happened too many times I will not be going back for a few months in hopes the owner reads this review and fix it issue.

Buying from here for many years. Very friendly staff, good quality meet. Their premium curry beef are the best. Only difficulty is hair in goat (especially leg and shoulder), which is understandable and we carefully remove them before cooking. Parking is also a problem.

Worst customer service. They don’t care about you, they keep on taking each other in their language.
