Westering Cottage Yarra Valley reviews
13A gorgeous little cottage on a stunning property. Felt very at home here with the hospitality provided and the cosiness of the cottage. So good! Highly recommend. Thank you
Loved Westering Cottage! The location, the gardens, the cottage itself is just lovely, and the fresh produce breakfast provided was very thoughtful and appreciated. Would definitely stay again and recommend
Wonderful stay in a beautiful cosy cottage. The location was perfect for exploring the region. Breakfast supplies were plentiful and the juice each morning along with treats were a welcome addition. The spa each night was very nice and relaxing. We left feeling very relaxed and refreshed.
Exquisite little cottage in a stunning location! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Westering Cottage. A home away from home. The photos don’t do it justice. Easy to find and the perfect location to explore the wineries of the region. We loved the breakfast and spa. The gardens and the thoroughly thought out decor. A little slice of heaven. Thank you Liz and David for the hospitality
Absolutely wonderful! We stayed for 2 nights but wished we could’ve stayed more. Beautiful surrounds, tidy cottage and amazing back deck with bar, bbq and hot tub- we spent all day just relaxing! Every detail is perfect, wonderful breakfast provided and fresh juice delivered to the back deck each morning. Can’t recommend more!
Wonderful cottage! We had a fabulous & relaxing 2 night stay! Everything is well though out! Thanks so much Liz & Geoff!
Beautiful little cottage, with very little detail taken care of. Located on a beautiful plot of land a stones throw from wineries. Well with the visit.
Is there a 10 rating. Fabulous location. Fabulous Liz and David. Fabulous accommodation. Fabulous attention to detail. Fabulous communication. Fabulous. Fabulous. Fabulous. Our two dogs were welcomed with open arms, they were given their own treats, own blankets. Our delightful hosts text to ask bread and milk preferences. There was delicious local items for breakfast. Fresh juice delivered in the morning. What else can I say. A must visit. Book early. Stay a week. Did I mention the bed? Cloud comfort. Nothing was a problem. Everything was spectacular. This couple are absolutely brilliant. Thank you again from two grateful humans and two thoroughly spoiled puppies.
Westering Cottage is a gorgeous little retreat in a beautiful garden setting. The main room is bed, living, dining and kitchen combined, with polished wooden flooring and tasteful furnishings. It leads to a large undercover deck with bar, fridge, dining area and spa. This in turn leads to a further dining area outdoors, with a bbq in a delightful garden. Liz and David have created a lovely getaway, with the extra little touches that make all the difference. Highly recommended.
An amazing dog friendly getaway, worth every one of its 5 stars. We stayed for 2 nights. The hosts Liz and David think of everything to keep your stay comfortable, just like a home away from home.
Several bonuses:
-Maggie their gentle senior doggo who greets us on arrival and does her walk around to squeeze in some cuddles.
-Serene location, view of the mountains, the only real noises you could here was the wildlife and the neighbours horses in the distance.
-Landscaped gardens. Need I say more?
-Fresh produce, Liz organises fresh fruit, juice and bread for your breakfast. Not to mention all the other supplies already there. Pancake mix, eggs, muesli etc
I cannot go on enough about how perfect our stay was. But we do know we'll definitely be back.
Fantastic place for a great getaway, amazingly peaceful and serene location, the cottage is top notch and you will be taken care of here and spoiled. Definitely recommend for anyone wanting to reconnect with nature and themselves.
