Werribee Park Golf Club

Beautiful golf course, was having a great day out on the course however an employee named Charlie who was mowing the grass was very rude and disrespectful and unfortunately wrecked our experience. He was bullying/ mocking a first time golfer (young teen) on the course taking their first hit on the green, he was sarcastically mocking him which made us frustrated. We told him more than once to move away and let the kid take his time to hit, unfortunately this went on for 10-15minutes. Love the golf course, but that rude employee needs to be respectful of others and learn to not escalate situations with his rude attitude.

I had a steak meal today for lunch and it was meant to be medium rare. I’ve had steak in many countries and this would be the worst. It was very dry with no juices in it. The bottom tasted burnt. To the cooks credit the salad and water was great. With only one wait staff on and lots of diners the poor lady was ran of her feet

Very well kept course. The layout looks simply but it's actually quite challenging. Enjoyed my round, definitely will return.

Staff are fantastic, good is great, views are unbelievable.is this really Werribee? Will definately dine there again soon.

What a joke of a Golf Club,!
Booked a group of 12 over 1 month ago. Booking taken, email confirmation given.
Rang to confirm on Thursday before game only to be told, sorry don't have your booking. Tee time moved an hour later, carts confirmed. Arrive on Sunday only to find NO CARTS available, they were given away. 8 of our group not able to pla, guy on duty blames management. Yet he was the one giving booked carts away. Then the guy on duty proceeds to allow others to go ahead in our booked time. Had 4 players drive over 1 hour to play. No game, not my fault guy on duty says. Seriously, every Social Club looking to book Werribee Golf Club should think about going elsewhere. Did I mention they still wanted to charge full price, no offer o, hey we will make it up to you. Never ever again Werribee. This is not the first time you've treated Social Groups this way, but will be the last for our group

Only attended the driving range. Small range, no cover, but really nice set up. Staff were friendly and helpful and answered all our questions.

Golf course in great condition but would have been better with food available after pennant final

The views restaurant is awesome. Got the rib eye steak & it was cooked exactly how I expected. The salad was crisp and fresh. Also the service was with a smile even some banter with the bar attendant
I had to congratulate the chef for one of the best cooked steaks I’ve ever had.

Had lunch at the View Restaurant at the golf club.
The lunch was delicious and plenty of it. There was also plenty of choice on their menu. All the people I was with enjoyed their lunches.
The view over the golf course is beautiful and I could see quite a few people enjoying a game of golf.

Nice public course. Pretty flat.so an easy walk. Greens are recovering from a coring so pretty rough. Enjoyable day

One of the best courses west of the city. Great facilities including driving range and friendly, and professional pro shop.

A very windy day and playing here for the first time, difficult conditions. A good challenge and will definitely be playing there again soon️‍️

This golf course is a tough challenging, but also rewards this who hit straight. It is in a beautiful spot just behind the Werribee Mansion along the river. Course is very well maintained. The members are very friendly and the staff in the pro shop are very helpful, and knowledgeable on their products and anything golf.

Nice course, not super technical. It borders the Werribee River so is pretty scenic. Good for a round with mates. The restaurant has a nice outdoor dining area with good views in the evening.

Great meal, great service and great views. They also allow bill splitting which gets the extra star from me!

Amazing golf course! Played 9 on Sunday and had to stop by on Tuesday to play the whole 18, loved every second of it. Also very friendly and helpful staff.

Decent maintained course. Some narrow fairways (probably 60-90 feet wide) and punishing rough make the course challenging. Greens are well kept but not fast (likely ~8?). Would give 4.3 out of 5. Not a big fan of the course design tho.

Beautiful challenging course, was very busy when we played on a Sunday morning but apart from that I would highly recommend it.

Werribee park golf club is a good track, it’s quite flat, wide fairways and the tee boxes are good to. The greens run true with not a lot of brake they are very good size and the pace was great on the day. If I lived in the area I would be a member for sure but I wouldn’t go out of my way tho. If you’re on holidays or in the area and need a golf fix then by all means head to the course and have a game!

Great course, it's in fantastic condition. Some very long par 4s. Great views. The pro shop staff were brilliant and as s visitor I felt extremely welcomed. Do yourself a favour have a round of golf and a meal with a few beers. A great day guaranteed.
