I've been suffering from chronic back pain since 1968, when I took a piece of shrapnel to my L3 on the outskirts of Saigon while serving in Vietnam. On that fateful day, Lt. James Beveridge told me, "Hang in there, Porridge. You're going to be okay — it will all be over soon. "

Well, Jim was wrong about a few things that day: I was not going to be okay, the pain would not subside quickly, and orange chicken is NOT a traditional Vietnamese meal. Alas, more than forty years later, I could still feel the metal pressing into my spine with the relentlessness of a retiree white woman playing the RSL pokies on a Wednesday morning.

Not only did he solve my chronic pain; he also introduced me to Helen, the love of my life, who has similar mobility issues from a sixty-year career at StarTrak. Helen is on long-service leave this year, and we're going back to Vietnam together, to finally get revenge.

I visited Well-being Chiropractic Tarneit just to get some information of the process of engaging the service of a Chiro as I have never consulted one. Dr Danielle met me with a smile and explained throughly my diagnosis on the report I had without me even asking her to and provided all the information without any hesitation so that I could make a decision. I was put to ease and instantly gained a lot of confidence in her as she was quite knowledgeable in her area of expertise. Hence I had no hesitation in booking my very first treatment with her. I had my bad c3 c4 cervical disk bludge. I was taking 6 pain killers in a day. I was lucky to met with Danielle for my first consultation and start taking sessions from onwards. In 2 sessions I was off from pain killers and recover from inflammation more faster.
