Weary Dunlop Retirement Village reviews
10 Great retirement village. Service second to none.
Has all the top features, bowling green, swimming pool, theatre room. Grand piano.
I have family living here. The staff are somewhat hit and miss, but there are many lovely people. Food according to my relative is appalling, however that may be a matter of taste. A wellbeing check with a callback does not get actioned however, and this is of great concern.
Great retirement village, very nice units. Seems to be well managed. Good social scene for the residents.
This is a very well run retirement village and nursing home, all the residents I spoke to were very happy living there and they highly recommend it as there new forever home
Lots of activities and good food and outings, very well maintained gardens and buildings.
Friendly and helpful staff. Thank you Mark for your help with the parcel. Much Appreciated!

I can't expect the staff jazz up the meals to serve to the aged residents the same way like a Master Chef or Iron Chef, but I am very impressed with the quality of food. Honestly speaking, I do not have the same quality food in my own daily menu.
The proof is in the attached photos.

Review Update on 15/4/2021
I am back again giving Armchair Travel presentation to the loresidents at Aged Care homes.
As usual, I just stop at the foyer of Weary Dunlop to take snap shots of the beautiful floral arrangements.

Today is Christmas 2020. COVID restrictions have eased but not entirely removed yet.
For the past few years, visiting and having lunch with my MIL residing in the aged care home on Christmas Day has been a regular event for my wife and myself. Once an active woman, my MIL needs help in eating and doing simple things that most people take for granted now.
In the past, the dining room was full of residents and relatives enjoying Christmas lunch. This year, the interior Christmas decoration is not as elaborate, and Christmas atmosphere is truly missing.
Instead of having lunch with MIL in her room like other residents, we choose to "wheel" her out to the balcony to enjoy the glorious afternoon sun. The staff kindly serve us lunch too, so that we can dine with MIL.
Weary Dunlop staff make great effort to look after the aged care residents, and ensure their needs are satisfied. After rounds of discussions and feedback, the chef has prepared meals not only palatable but also with the correct texture modified for my MIL.
We are very pleased with the facilities and care provided by Weary Dunlop Aged Care owned by Ryman Health. It is a credit to the management, and staff who take pride in putting service before profit.

Aged care facilities very well managed and run by professional and qualified staff.
The buildup of garbage at Ryman's dirty Coburg site is a real worry, it shows a lack of care and a lack of respect for the local community. Would happily change this rating if Ryman began to show an attempt to improve the condition of the site.
Really glad we chose Weary Dunlop. It's been about 2 years now and things just run smoothly. In the past month, after the COVID 19 restrictions, they have really shone. Staff go the extra mile, communication is great and Mum feels safe.
Best facility in the country. I see myself working there until I retire, not that I’m that old
Amazing place! Beautifully presented with everything set up for the residents needs and wishes. Apartments are very comfortable and quiet. Gardens are beautiful and well tended. Underground car parking is a frustration for larger vehicles but the (limited) outdoor parking is satisfactory. The hospital-style accommodation for more intense assistance are comfortable albeit small. A wonderful place to enjoy the later years.
