WDEA Works Geelong

I have been thru a number of employment services, and by far the best has been WDEA Belmont and Geelong. Very friendly and helpful staff, especially Emma.

Extremely discriminatory towards white males. Waiting since 28/11/2022 for help to receive unemployment benefits and still waiting 4/3/2023. My family eat 1 meal a day and I have lost over 35kg since November. I hope they all die and their souls rot in hell.

Ive been too a couple different employment agencies and this one is by far the best! Had 3 or so case managers since coming to wdea but all of them have been very proactive in trying to find me a job and my current case supervisor Shannon has been a huge help! Couldn't recommend a better place.

After being with providers that didn't really bother to actually help I decided to switch over to WDEA and I'm so glad I did! Jen is absolutely wonderful! She took the time to get to know me and my interest and actually listened to what I want to do. She's never pushed me to do things I'm not comfortable with and has always made sure that I feel confident in the jobs I'm applying for. She has made the whole job hunting experience a lot less stressful and I'm glad I got to work with her. 11/10 Everyone else I have met or spoken to from WDEA have also been very helpful and kind. You all do amazing work thank you!

The staff at WDEA have been amazingly supportive during my journey. They not only helped me in getting the qualifications I needed to get a job I love, but also helpful and supportive with my mental health journey.
I have not felt alone since becoming a WDEA client. Even after I got my job they have continued to offer support and assistance. My life I certainly better for their help

I am registered with WDEA Corio. I have found the staff always friendly and helpful especially Alex. She helped me get a job with Home Instead. She has been so supportive and understanding. It will be sad to see her go and I wish her all the best. I can't wait to start work and I'm excited to see what the future holds.

Wdea works at the start I had a bit of a roller coaster ride to begin with I had 6 different workers and I got taken off the system one stage but eventually got back onto the system of wdea works at first the first worker I had she helped me in getting a job she asked the boss at the place that I work at if their was any work going. Now I'm with Shannon and they really do their best in looking after me.

Absolutely fantastic Employment Assist Organization that focuses on Disability Employment. I can not recommend this Organization more highly. Jen helped me to get back into the workforce and she was kind, patient, and empathetic. She made the process easy, completely supported me and made sure that I had all the tools and equipment necessary. I would not have found work without her. Thanks Jen! You were the catalyst that encouraged me not to give up. You were full of encouragement and your caring and helpful and bubbly nature made the process easy. Thank you very much Jen, I now have my self-esteem back, and look forward to going to work.

I have Shannon as an employment consultant. He has given me more confidence within myself by being super supportive and understanding. Every time I have an appointment with WDEA is a pleasure, even their Administration Saira is very friendly and easy to speak with.

Davina and Jennifer have been so helpful in getting me the right hours at the right job.
With their help after years of unemployment I have now gained two jobs in an industry I love working in for employers who are willing to work with my mental health issues.
Can't praise them highly enough for all their help with uniforms working checks and making sure the job is the right fit.

I have been to quite a few providers and have been promised help, but have always ended up being a number. I never got offered the support I needed. It was only when I came to WDEA Works that I felt comfortable and accepted and for the first time actually listen too. Jen has not only helped me with my work needs but my journey along the way. It has been a breath of fresh air and I thank Jen for all her patient, support, understanding, compassion, her bubble uplifting personality and knowing that she is genuine with her passion to help. I have been a client of WDEA approx 2 1/2 years and in that time have had 3 previous case workers, all of which have been supportive. I had one job interview last year but I arranged that myself. Then earlier this year I was linked with a new case worker Shannon who was so proactive with my job search that I had a position within a week. He has been extremely helpful and approachable and I am p[leased with the support I have received.

I've been with Wdea for a few weeks now and I have had a great experience. Their administration Saira is super friendly and easy to talk to. I'd also like to thank Shannon for so being understanding and having a friendly approach.

WDEA Works Geelong and Belmont have been great to deal with.
Very supportive and professional and they get the job done.
Cheryl at the Belmont office is a kind and knowledgeable person with the interests of her clients at heart. Her service and ability in her role have made getting a job a very easy transition.

Such a beautiful, friendly group of Staff with kind and caring attitudes towards everyone. Wdea Staff are always willing to help in any way they can. You feel at home walking into the office, great customer service, but most of all how supportive they are!
