WAYSS Dandenong

This has to be the most useless support ever. There is no support, they dont return phone calls or emails. When you go into the office they do not respect your privacy and make you tell your story in front of a waiting room of people.

They also accept gifts from NDIS Support organisations which is a big no no. This org should be investigated.

Oh and forget getting a case manager if you are male "Sorry we only offer females case management" that in itself is discriminatory.

One word - useless! They apparently offer help to individuals who suffer from homeless or high risk of homelessness. The staff contradict what the company is supposed to offer. I explained that by Sunday I need to vacate my current property, however, I have found a 1 bedroom studio for rent for under $300; in today's economy, that's a steal! For a sharehouse the room alone is 270-320, this was for the entire place! But apparently I have to now find something that's not over 220 t.so what I've getgered is, they won't help, despite telling them you'll end up on the bloody street, they won't find you a place, they do absolutely nothing for you. Logically who would put themselves in a situation where they couldn't afford a roof above their heads? The first time going to wayss, and will be the last! Avoid at all costs. Beyond me what the workers even get paid for, the receptionist was sitting at her desk looking like she had better places to be.

Been told I am not a mother.my children love with there father since I became homeless after leaving a domestic violent relationship.get told I have to except any share house including one where my ex’s friends live and he visits

Nothing but good things to say about this place. Anita is a deadset gem and went above and beyond. Thanks to everyone especially Anita and Simone. Couldn't of got into my new place without youse. Thx

My self and my partner went into wayss seeking help in accommodating us a specially since we’re young and expecting a baby, wayss helped by putting us in to a hotel for a night and got us bud tickets as well we where both very grateful but when we woke not feeling the best and couldn’t get our bus we went back seeking more help and got turned away let alone the hotel was at the comfort inn at Dandenong it was horrible and the staff miss treated everyone I strongly recommend going elsewhere for help if you need it as wayss won’t help you or do anything for you that’d be in your best interest low star rating wish there was -10 stars if low grade this place big time

Out of hospital i was with some serious health issues been asking ways help rental is behind gone went in the dandenong office also sended all my documents via email.was coldly refused rental help i never used no organisation was behind bit in rent outright refused say look elsewere even been unwell means nothing cold hard truth belive is you will end on street after 22 years i worked in australia been citizen and now older gone came long ago in times when was easier life just once asked help since i didnt had goverment covid 19 help belived they can help 2 weeks to get help so i no.lose home as many homless are out unfortunatly no help even i have disabilitys now and health issues was left in my own to help myself thanks to them for nothing if you rich you can be lucky if you not you are out nobody is there is cold hard truth even you worked all life once you need help you dont get sad that here is no humanity left

There really is no point calling, all they do is give you a link to a place full of crims. Better off homeless

Absolutely aweful. I had the worker Yasmeen re victimise my daughter and I again today. After telling her that the stalking had ramped up and that because of a legal technicality, police could not arrest our stalker on Saturday or Sunday even though they attended. I was powerless and had to photograph the situation on the weekend. I was told by Yasmeen that camera's would not likely be approved, she then denied saying it and said it was my word against hers. What woman or child needs to hear that from a domestic violence worker, when they are told that by their abuser. Yasmeen was also made aware that our abuser has 3 of our neighbours helping him. She further told me that I should just financially take a loss and to contact safe steps for temporary safe accomodation. No consideration has been given to the complexity of our situation, the trauma my daughter has already gone through, her need for stability, my physical health and that we live completely exposed. I now have to advocate on my own. For all the good that does us. Police say to contact, WAYSS, WAYSS say to contact the police and safe steps.

Been waiting here for almost 2 hours no support worker is coming to see me. The car park out side is also expensive.the lady at the reception is extremely rude.after all this the only option they have for homeless people is to share house with strangers and pay a big amount of money for rent.the service is useless and it will make the vulnerable people more depress then ever. I wonder how the Melbourne city is the most livable i think its the most horrible.

You were evicted for being an absolute liar and user, I would of chucked you out on day 2 you are a complete chat and you know it, so just leave, no point trying to pretend you have a place lol, you dont deserve it, you treat theur place like trash and use it for all your little 16 year olds to smoke drugs and hav sex in the spare room, youre dirty you were asked to clean up behind your shed like 50 times.you dob your neighbours in to their real estate and the council, time to move mate and give up the house to a woman who actually has been bashed and is trying to get away, you just keep inviting them all back, youre the disgrace

VERONICA SATIN- i lived with you in your wayss home and payed you 750 dollars a week to live there, and youre upset about being evicted, free rides over now, time to go back to street, thaaaats riiiiight where you came from and where you belong:) btw no one likes you at wayss at the police station or at the courts, when i say no one, i mean no one (we checked) you cant hold down a job for more than one shift and no man wants to support because as a person.you just suck.lol thatd suck living in your fantasy denial.

Absolute disgrace if your unfortunate enough to have Vathou as your support worker she will happily throw you under the bus.even advising me that I can't work or I'll lose the house this was witnessed by my son and several other people.upon confrontation in a meeting with the manager Vathou later having said this. I came to them homeless placed in a place to call home and evicted on absolute hearsay reasons that make no sense. Lisa the manager also will advise incorrect information. They do not help they are liars and lack zero empathy for db and homelessness. This organisation is the worst I've dealt with.liars and absolute disgrace

I am mum of a son that has problems and keeps ending up homeless and Wayss helped
us every time.
