Due to my long term care my previous doctor had bulk billed my care at this clinic.
However, when I attended to see another doctor as my doctor is away they have charged me. Mix billing is a scam and they did not clearly explained before I walked in to see the doctor.
I guess I will have to find different doctor.

Worst experience ever! Waste of time of money of energy! 85 dollars 2min consultation! I arrived over there with fiver chest pain and also muscle pain, no one check was done, nothing! I did a COVID TEST because she ask me than obviously it was negative! Now im still in pain with doubts about my health no medication was prescribed at least im sure is not covid (what a joke) and by the way for 85dollars 2min consultation at least they can make a covid test no? Because i needed to buy this also! WHAT A JOKE THIS PLACE!

Dr. Vijay Venkatesan was a waste of time. Diagnosis was way off the mark. Took my daughter to her with blisters and a rash, which turned out to be Impetigo (school sores). Needed a certificate of clearance to be returned back to school. Her diagnosis: something bit her in the sand. Efficient and friendly doesn't equate to quality health advice. Don't waste your time with her.

One of the best medical practices in the Geelong area. The medical team and their support staff are fantastic.

Just okay
We had an appointment at 3.20 but didn’t see the doctor till 3.30 n when time for payment at 3.52 they charged extra saying we had 27 minutes with doctor.
In my sense they even charge for waiting period
What a way to make money

Not recommend Dr. Shabnum Khan at all. Very unprofessional and harsh in answering all the questions I had.
Had symptoms like Asthma and wanted to start Asthma assessment and plan but she wanted me to come back another day with another appointment to start that. Did not consult at least 10 mins. The way she communicated with us was very unfriendly and unprofessional.

I DO NOT recommend DR. KHAN at all.

When they bulk billed it wasn't too bad. Now you have to pay for the privilege of sitting in their waiting room for ages. Find a better clinic.

To go here after 12 months of not needing to. To be told, no Doctor won’t see you if you have cold symptoms.kind of says a lot about an incompetent Medicare system. Am going to go here today though, & see if they redeem themselves

Do not recommend! Highly unprofessional & unhelpful. You’re treated like a number at this clinic and you’re definitely not getting your monies worth. Avoid!

EDIT: in response to WPMC reply, Dr khan was nothing but difficult and it was an interrogation instead of a consultation. I came into get a script for a medication I have been taking for 10 years +. I told her the script had been misplaced and I needed a new script. She blatantly refused & did not elaborate/explain why she couldn’t fill my script. Dr khan’s communication style was utterly disgusting and unprofessional, she pretty much told me I had to go to the pharmacy and take it up with them, which made absolutely no sense, she made no effort to build a rapport, she just wanted to rush the whole appointment and get me out. I was given misinformation and from reading other reviews I’m not the only one who has had a negative and unprofessional experience with Dr Khan. Do your job properly or get out of the profession! Thanks

I had an appointment with Dr Shabnum Khan, I needed two scripts, she spent so long writing notes after I asked for the first one that she then said I no longer had time left for her to give me the second script, I was in there for less than 10 minutes. Really disappointed with her consultation.

Doctor didn’t listen to concerns around mental stability of patients which extended the appointment - ultimately resulting in a long appointment time and charging $116 for the consultation with $80 out of pocket

It’s changed to mixed billing practice without inadequate reminders (not mentioned on the website, but only a printed notice at the reception) I did make a booking online therefore there’s no pre-warning. The doctors have then been asking patients to do more tests - as a result of more out of pocket on the clients side. Even for some concerns, the doctors would say come back later for another follow up appointment, without providing any medication. Overall it’s a money making clinic, putting profits but not patients health first.

Very professional Dr. Asked a lot of questions and showed a genuine interest in helping get to the bottom of my health concern. Was a very positive experience thank you!

Pretty poor service. Don’t go here if you value your health. Haven’t been here for a long time came for a check up on asthma and follow up blood test. They had a sign stating you need a pcr test or rapid test to enter the building and have the appointment. The receptionist was extremely rude I clearly stated to her that I had completed multiple RAT tests over the past week including a PCR test that were negative she insisted I find the PCR test result message which I had deleted even though a RAT was fine. I then reasonably purchased a rapid test from the pharmacy next door to use and she wouldn’t let me proceed to take the test before the appointment and was unable to attend in the end. Could have had it in the message before someone books the appointment. She was unable to accept simple feedback and tried to create conflict. She needs training in communicating with people looking for medical assistance and learn to accept feedback in a civil manner. For starters no one is giving pcr tests as of Jan 1 without a doctor referral. It costs money to get the referral and or purchase rapid tests and then book another appointment outside of that just to see the doctor about your actual health issue. A Telehealth appointment was not suitable for my health issue. Won’t be coming here again it’s a shame as it used to be a more professional practise. They need to align with the rest of the medical profession. No one is going to walk into a medical centre if they have Covid anyway. Also as an addition to their reply below I called and spoke to the Practise Manager over the phone and looking at their reply was unable to accept unconditional feedback or apologise for my treatment by the receptionist. This person just needs to have the last word and argue not worth your time. I accepted my error by selecting no as my symptoms didn’t relate to Covid by the negative tests I had received by reasonably purchasing a RAT test to use at the time. They could also ask customers to purchase if they have made an error at the pharmacy instead of rudely telling people to leave. Be careful when you call they maybe trying to make extra money by creating extra Covid related appointments and referring you to get a PCR test before. I guess the treatment towards customers comes from the top. A simple apology and understanding would have been fine and additional messaging to bring confirmation of a test at time of booking would also be beneficial. I ended up just booking an appointment within the hour at Medical One across the road no PCR test required just wear a mask. Staff are very friendly and the doctor was very helpful and was able to assist me with all my issues and explained everything in detail.

Had a bad experience with reception last year after having a bad case with my asthma, dr told me if my symptoms don’t improve within 24 hours to call and get in with him for next step, reception rufused to book me in despite what the dr had previously told me.

Fast forward 6 months and I thought I’d give them another go, same treatment from receipton. Now that they charge $70 fee without telling you how much it will be exactly until AFTER the appointment is ridiculous.

I don’t usually leave negative reviews but this place has turned into a complete joke.

I did not have a good experience overall. The wait time to appointment was long even though it was booked in advance.

Once I went in, the appointment felt rushed. Main reason for the visit was to get a medicare rebate form for a referral to a specialist.

The doctor mentioned she needs a sample to be able to do it. I have had this done previously and most doctors know how to do it without needing a sample. Once I sent the sample to them, they said I need to book another appointment to get the form, which just seemed so out of the ordinary. I will not be going back.

The reception staff are always so friendly and lovely to deal with… I feel like that’s a hard thing to find these days! Very happy with my doctor too, and booking online is so easy.

Couldn’t speak more highly of Dr Deepa! She is always incredibly thorough and compassionate. Never have I felt more heard and listened to by a doctor. She is no longer a bulk-billing doctor but honestly, the $40 out of pocket fee is worth it.

Thank you for squeezing us in at short notice. And a MASSIVE thank you to Dr Bracewell for being so lovely with our daughter. It means so much when doctors go the extra mile to make the visit as fun as possible when your baby is sick
