Wattle Grove Motel

Clean room.only met an older room cleaner and she was a delight.we could talk all day.we nearly did.room was small but enough.bit of a walk to town, but a short drive.all in all no hassles and good for a quick weekender to see the town.

I've been a regular when I'm in Maryborough at this motel for quite some time, and I can't help but appreciate the consistently high level of service and comfort it offers. The room cleanliness is always top-notch, which is a priority for me when choosing accommodation. The spacious rooms provide ample space to relax and unwind. The staff is not only friendly but also incredibly attentive to guests' needs, making me feel right at home with their warm hospitality. It's also evident that the owner takes pride in maintaining the property, and their dedication is reflected in the overall experience. I highly recommend this motel to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and welcoming place to stay.

Good motel, very clean, also quite, good manager owner, check in easy ;
Only problem, I had, was very poor hot water service as in none yesterday when I stayed overnight, unable to shower!
I mentioned to the owner, he explained that he had solar hot water services, which he also said not great system; he recently bought the motel only a few months ago;
I advised that he get instant gas hot water services that can be linked to the solar system and use it as booster when low sunshine ;

Good beds, electric blankets, new room heaters RC Air/heater, good quality TV’s!
Lot of motels have rubbish TV’s of unknown Chinese brands!
The rooms have microwaves, cutlery, crockery, toaster; good quite fridge;

No breakfast provided or any cooking on site, however u could have TV dinners and basics in the fridge!

Good parking in front of your room, site well lit at night!
Motel has bbq area and lawns, shelter, basic outdoor kitchen area; grounds well maintained, good gardens,
Apart from hot water issues, if that is fixed by fairly soon, I will stay again!
Room rate $ is reasonable at $115 per night;

Going back to stay at this beautiful place tonight. Best place in town. Very clean great price. Hospitality wonderful. Thanks Bev for making us feel welcomed. Thanks Braun for your lovely hospitality we really enjoyed our stay once again. See you again soon

The room was well equipped and very comfortable. The bathroom was spotless and well appointed.
The room was most comfortable and warm on a very cold night.
The owner was welcoming and helpful.

Villa is lovely for a family, home away from home, has everything you need.

We booked for 3 nights at Wattle Grove over Easter and so glad we did, could easily have comfortably stayed longer. The owner was extremely friendly and welcoming. The rooms are large, comfortable and clean. The attention to detail with coffee, tea, milk, biscuits, plates and cutlery made it feel more homely and the cleaning service, changing the towels each morning was something we weren’t expecting. Kids were excited to come back to the room on Easter Sunday to find some Easter eggs left for them. Highly recommended and would definitely come back.

Rooms aren't big, but they have crazy comfortable beds, rooms are comfortable rooms, enjoy my stay highly recommend for a night or 3

I stayed here for a month in July / August 2021, and the prior owner, Bev, was the kindest soul. All the rooms were 100% cleaned to number one standards. It is a very quiet and relaxed Motel to stay at, for frequent travellers, holiday makers and business travellers.
I hope the new owners enjoy the area and running the motel, as much as dear Bev did

I stayed for 2 nights. Am a regular visitor to Maryborough and first time here and will definitely be back. It has a new owner and he is absolutely the most pleasant person. Heater and light on when I entered. He offered things to help my stay, just to be kind not for financial gain. Far too cheap for all that is given and a bus at the front door. Thank you so much and look forward to seeing you again

The owner is very friendly and with a very long talk. The room is small and the basin in the toilet is also very small. As the owner said, you get what you pay for.

There was a note mentioning that hot water takes 2-3 minutes. But I turn on the shower for almost ten minutes and still had no hot water. In the end, I only had a cold shower with very cold water.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay with beautiful garden and view and great price. Bev is amazing, so kind And helpful! The rooms are neat, tidy and very comfortable. My husband and I will definitely return in the near future

Our stay at wattle grove motel was fantastic. The rooms were very clean and well kept. Parking was easy and they had room for our two cars.
Bev was lovely and we will definitely stay again.

This place is a hidden gem. Super clean, neat and tidy, very much value for the $. Bev was so welcoming and helpful. Had a great nights sleep and look forward to returning on my next business trip.

Wattle Grove was a very clean Motel at a reasonable price with a lovely room and bathroom. The owner Bev was very friendly. If you don’t have a car there is a bus stop right at the front door

Bev is definitely the hostess with the mostest. She was so helpful accomodating our last minute changes.
The room was clean & comfortable with everything you need. Toaster, microwave, crockery & cutlery. There is a great outdoor area with a bbq with everything you need.
They say it’s all about the details & this is very true here. From the beautiful Sheridan towels down to the choice of coffee.
We will definitely stay again when we are next in the area.
