Loved my stay at waterfront Retreat. I sipped on my wine, while watching the wild life all around. I was truly so beautiful. I have never stayed someone so peaceful. I would recommend stocking up on supplies because once you are there you want want to leave. Thank you Andrew to your help with directions and things to do.

My family has been coming here for years and the staff have always been nothing but helpful, most recently we visited and had a family emergency / health scare.

The staff and owner were more than lovely, and accommodating allowing us to extend our stay.

In regards to the accommodation and amenities, everything was tidy and clean upon arrival, with no unexpected surprises!

I would strongly recommend this family friendly retreat for a getaway!

We held a forum for our senior leaders here in May/April. The host, catering and accommodation were all fantastic and Andrew was very accommodating for anything we needed.

Loved it! The indoor pool was fabulous, the spa was amazing. Seeing kangaroos was fabulous and fun. It’s close to Paynesville and we got the free ferry across to Raymond Island to see loads of wildlife including a plethora of koalas. The kayaking is included and was top fun. Wi-Fi sucked!

Beautiful, tranquil, peaceful property and lodges in a bush/lake setting and plenty of free activities. I highly recommend ️

Perfect location. Quiet peaceful relaxing. Very close to nature. Spent Mother’s Day weekend there with the family. Has everything you need. Our cabins looked over the lake - Atrium ceiling design. Oh my god full on fun with activities, good help from Andrew, did spa though the water was just warm but we had warm people with us.kayaking was fun, sunset and rise scene are unforgettable. Bairnsdale is nearby town where you can find Wooly so no probs of food and drink.tennis court and cycling were the options too but wr enjoyed staying in our rooms which were fully equipped for big group of 18 people.we had 3 big cottages and one was 50 meter from lake water.green to walk and cycling.loved it.

A fantastic holiday facility. Great for families, great for couples. Staff are wonderfully attentive and available, but not intrusive. I am gobsmacked it isn’t a lot more expensive!

Super quiet location. Well-equipped self-catering huts. Friendly kangaroos come right to your door. Free use of pool, spa, tennis court, bicycles and canoes is included. Excellent star-gazing at night.

Great place to stay, plenty of activities for all the family and its all free, no hidden costs.

Spectacular lake views with kangaroos roaming around. Cosy accommodation well maintained with all basic necessities provided. Highly recommended.

It's quite pleasure to spend a weekend with family in near water Lodge of Dargo. 50 meters to the water and free use of canoe, kayak and bike around. We did play the two canoes in the quiet bay and kids had a lot of fun. In addition, kangaroos visited us in the early morning and we saw a little one in mother's belly

Big Thankyou to Lodge water front resort Wattle Point Paynesville for a wonderful stay, Hubby Marco is in a wheelchair & it's had accessibility facilities for him, number one on our list, definitely be back, & our grandkids loved it also, especially feeding the Kangaroo's?

Wow, what a place, I love it and will do it again, the grandkids loved it, lots to do and see, did I say WOW.

Beautifully well maintained with all the mod cons, peaceful and serene with wildlife a plenty. Beautiful part of the world. Well worth a visit
