Very close to the river, excellent access. Only downside is the limited parking as this area is so popular

Enjoy a day out walking along river, exploring the Warrendyte shops and nurseries, and enjoying the food and drinks at one of the many cafes.

The recent upgrades to this river walk have made it an amazing place to come and enjoy the natural beauty of warrandyte. The path along the river is spacious with plenty of room to share with the community, there are lots of access points back to the Main Street, including parking options and a few spots along it to sit on a chair or picnic on the grass.

Its lovely to be able to park close to the path by the river. Its a great area to take a walk with the dog & enjoy nature at its best.

Small but open reserve directly next to the Yarra. A couple of BBQs and a covered area but otherwise not much shade. Walking track that goes up to Warrandyte and beyond. Can get very busy and muddy after wet days. Flooded river after heavy rain can cut off some parts of the path.

Beautiful Warrandyte, not far from Melbourne in the outer eastern suburbs. Spend the afternoon walking or picnic on the banks along this stunning vista of Australian landscape.
Lots of cafes and a home made bakery who bakes onsight.
Old goldtown feel, which l hope doesn't change too much.

Lovely area to walk around, visit shops and admire the river. A holiday from the hustle and bustle of the city!

Good place to spend time with family and friends, and to have a swim during hot summer days.

It appears local council have done lot of good work to develop the river sides in environmental and socially responsible way. Parking, play areas and BBQ areas have been setup to accomodate moderate numbers, without making the area to be overcrowded.

Plenty of good quality restaurants and boutique shops are around in a well balanced and relaxing atmosphere.

Warrandyte river is good for kayaking and rafting. Would love to have separate beach for dog washing

Great place. Beautiful by the river, great for a cool off in summer and to let the dogs socialise and have fun in the water. Parking can be tough at times but there's usually a spot or two available when I'm around.

Was convenient and not too challenging to find a park. River bank sitting and cooling off in the river is a great thing in our local area!

One of Melbourne's historical and natural great wonders. Sadly / happily not overcrowded with tourists, mainly because it's not as 'big bus friendly'. All the more reason to go by car.

It is just the best place to take your dogs for a walk. The dog people are always welcoming and the atmosphere is always very friendly.

Awesome! Bring a folding chair, plonk it in the shallows and paddle your feet while eating any number of excellent food places literally across the road. Thai, Indian, pizza, fish chips, pub grub, cafe coffee and cakes blah blah blah
Be patient with the traffic, go slow and steady and look for the free parking off street riverside.
There's also more free parking downstream and down a street opposite Goldfield plaza with the excellent IGA for gourmet vegan gluten free foods.
Have fun and spread happiness by smiling with your face and heart

Great car park with plenty of car spaces, courteous drivers/visitors, such a lovely place to visit for few hours. Shall recommend others to copy.

A perfect location for having a swim on a warm day. Lots of space to park, access to public toilets and easy access to the river. The area is clean and well maintained and the water is perfect for a swim for both humans and animals. Lots of people there with pets and inflatable pool toys just relaxing.

I recommend taking a pair of water shoes to wear in as it gets a little slippery under foot and the rocks can be hard under your feet, but even without, its not too bad, just mind your balance.
