Warralily Kebabs & Burgers

Waited almost 40 minutes today for 2 kebabs. They didn't have any chips available, so I didn't order any chips. Just 2 kebabs. I was told it would be a 15 minute wait. It took 40 minutes. 25 minutes more then I was told. When I asked where my food was at the 35 minute mark I was told it would be only 2 more minutes. It was not 2 more minutes.

A 40 minute wait on my meal would have been perfectly fine I was told that before ordering. At least that way I know its a 40 minute wait.
I can then make a decision about what to do for dinner knowing it was a 40 minute wait. But telling me a 15 minute wait, when it was clearly significantly more then that, and offering a pathetic apology when called out on the deception was really frustrating.

The food was okay. Not great. And definitely not worth a 40 minutes wait and more then $30.00 for 2 kebabs.

We were needing some food rather late and luckily we found Warrralily Kebabs and Burgers still open. There was something on the menu for all of us. The meat and chicken was delicious and served with a nice salad and warm rice. The burger was excellent. The pita bread with dips was lovely. We were surprised by the wonderful service and the hugh quality of the food. The guys running this place were very helpful and friendly, and we left feeling very satisfied with our choices. We will definitely go back there.

Ate here recently. It was a warm evening and the shop was so hot we were about to leave when they finally turned on air conditioning.
We ordered 2 kebabs and chips. They served both kebabs on 1 plate. Kebabs meat was fatty. Chips arrived 5 mins after (a pet hate of ours)
Ah …. Not going back

Was around the corner and thought i would try it. Never actually asked for his name, but my man who serves me both at Nandos and also here today is always so friendly, and also very hardworking. You can tell him and his family care about the food they make, and it was very good. Always appreciate it my man, I'll be back soon

Had a lamb kebab, it was delicious, and the meat was so fresh. The staff was friendly, and he offered me a free chai for tasting.

Decided to give this a try, ordered a lamb kebab. There were some bits of lamb that was undercooked. Very disappointing.

I got a chicken hsp and mixed kebab. The chips was fresh and crispy. The kebab was up to the expectation. Definitely I'll visit again.

Amazing service and delicious food. We got the kebabs and chips and they were so fresh and made really well.
They came over and gave us some sauce and even a free drink for our little one. So kind and you can tell they take pride in their business.

Went for lunch with the family today. The kebabs were delicious and the staff was very friendly and very welcoming. We are looking forward to our next meal there!

After hearing great things about this place me and my partner decided to try it out and we definitely weren't dissapointed! Awesome food great service and a friendly vibe. The kebab was amazing and the complimentary drinks just topped it off, you pay a little more then other places but that is reflected in fresh ingredients, great food, and awesome customer service we will definitely be coming back and looking forward to the summer menu that will be coming out. Keep up the great work

First time having warralily kababs and was not disappointed! Mixed hsp was unreal and the service was great. Will be back.

Service was quick and the owner was so lovely.

I'd like to start by saying due to cost of living we are lucky to have takeaway dinner once every couple of months, so we were really looking forward to tonight

We'd read lots of good things about this place, and really wanted to support local.

It started of strong by us somehow getting our order ahead of people that had been waiting 45min+

But then.it pains me to say this but, I've never had a bad kebab in my life until tonight!

We only live 5 minutes from the shop and by the time we got home to eat it, it was stone cold, I almost think they put it in the fridge!

I paid extra $2 for cheese and let's just say, that wasn't even 10 cents worth and half of it was on the paper, not in the bread.

Even though my girlfriend asked for sauce when she ordered, there was no sauce on my kebab at all, and she didn't notice that sauces weren't ticked on the wrapper while in store.hence the no sauce.but cmon who doesn't have at least garlic sauce

We got a regular hsp to share and that was stone cold too.

The free can of coke was also cold.so that was a win.

Honestly if the food was hot I bet it would have been delicious and I would have probably enjoyed even with hardly any cheese and no sauce.it did have potential.

I've heard that the wait is usually worth it at this place but unfortunately we well and truly lucked out.

I am hesitant to try this place again but I always believe in second chances and it was a standard Friday night.next time I'll try mid week or mid afternoon but Friday and Saturday night are off the table for now.

I want to support small, upcoming businesses - but they need to avoid making incredibly integral mistakes like customer service and making wrong orders.

The food is quite good, HSPs and Kebabs are as good as any joint you'd like to have after a night out, and the burgers are similar to those you might expect from your regular fish & chips joint, although falls short from those you expect at other local businesses at ACTC or Belmont.

The primary mistake made is clarifying the order before placing it. Ensuring its the correct meat in a HSP, ensuring the components of a burger.

Another mistake is ensuring all the food is in the bag, such as chips as was placed in the order.

The prices are higher than an average spot by $2 - $3 per item. You expect that to translate to better service if not the quality of the food.

I expect these issues to iron out over time as managers appropriately train their staff and staff become more confident.

Don’t bother

Came here once.kebabs weren’t wrapped well, fell apart and were stuck to the foil. Sauce all over the outside of kebab.

Ordered again a month later through Doordash and they forget my pita bread that supposed to come with mix platter. Got multiple dips sitting here without any bread lol…

Our daughter has egg and dairy allergies and the staff were so accommodating, to the point of showing me the ingredient list for there meat! I couldn't believe how supportive and understanding they were. Bonus points for them for seperating her meat and salad as well just to double check and leave it to me to put together! 10/10 we enjoyed ours and our daughter ate all of hers up. We will definitely be back! Thank you for your hospitality!
