Lovely spot for lunch. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Quite a large menu and the cabinet was filled with multiple food items to choose from. Cakes, sandwiches, wraps. The cappuccino I had was very good. Could have been stronger but was well made. Highly recommended.

An upstanding local cafe and restaurant.

The service and quality of food at Cockatoo never deviates from exceptional! Their breakfast and lunch menu offers so many great options that it's always hard to pick what to have next. I'm a sucker for burgers so the chicken and beef smash are a must try. Also the arancini and coffee here is fantastic.

If you are a local to Armstrong Creek you will hopefully find this place a reliable place to visit. It was quite busy when I stopped in but this did not impede the friendly service. It made for a pleasant atmosphere. Prices are reasonable.

Overall Cockatoo is hard to fault. Keep up the great work. I'll be back again for sure!

Went with some friends today for lunch. The tables were set up perfectly so that everyone in the group could see each other which made it easy to talk.
Maddi did a super job with taking orders and serving. Food was delicious no complaints from our group.

Absolutely loved the food and service on two occasions. I'll be back there for the 100% home made pizza. Highly recommended cafe come restaurant for all occasions.

Chef Hayden made the most amazing food! Definitely coming back again! He made the flaming Galah and it was perfect the poached eggs were nice and runny which is the way i like them!

Delicious lunch here today. The staff were very attentive and welcoming, they made our family and doggy very comfortable and relaxed. Our dog got a treat which was very kind.
Service was prompt and the food was amazing. We would definitely recommend and will return here.

A very disappointing experience here this afternoon. Came in for coffee and besides the woman who showed us to our table, every member of staff looked absolutely miserable. When I went to pay, four different staff members looked at and then ignored me. When I asked the young woman making coffee if there was someone who could serve me so I could pay the bill, she snapped at me. As I was leaving, another staff member pushed his way through the door when I'd opened it half way and cut me off to get inside without saying a word.

Wouldn't come back and couldn't recommend this place to anyone based on the service received today.

Not normally open on Sundays, minimal inexperienced staff.taking advantage of Mothers day! Ordered the Lamb ragout and got soggy gnocci in a tomato sauce.and no discernible lamb. Ordered coffee but was told the machine was "CLEAN", the staff began cleaning around us just to make sure. Go there for a reasonably good pizza.thats all!

This seems to be the place to visit in this area. With great service and a good selection on the menu and not to forget the coffee is a credit to the barista.

On a recent visit to Cockatoo I was most impressed by the friendliness and service We received. Upon deliberating about a vegan option, restaurant owner Ben asked preferences for certain likes and after a great description i ordered their Fugazi pizza. Krickey! It is up their with My all time favourites from across the World! Pulled mushroom brisket and Kim Chi along with a generous amounts of other ingredients. A good size and the pizza crust fluffy and crusty at the same time. I observed others orders and they were equally pleased. Outdoor seating is great on a hot day, inside can be a bit noisy if it's busy

I originally reviewed Cockatoo a 3/5 but since visiting a few more times I've changed my review. When I was unwell I ordered a huge breakfast order because I I couldn't be bothered cooking, I was shocked at how amazing the food was. Such generous servings and their customer service is always friendly.

Visited this morning and ordered the Salmon Benny Poached eggs were cooked beautifully, however the Potato Rosti needed to be made traditionally and not just a block of potato with no seasoning, it was just too heavy for the dish. The Yuzu hollandaise was tasty but the dish needed a fresh element like dill and the smashed avo needed fresh lemon through it or could be served with a lemon cheek to help lift the dish
Lactose free Dirty Chai was great temp and flavours
Customer service was friendly and there is plenty of free parking available

3 x takeaway pizzas. Stone-baked bases were really good, with one exception, which was rather burnt in places. Toppings were a bit sparse on 2 out of the 3 - at $25 each, would have expected the toppings to be more generous.

Loved this air-conditioned cafe, seats outside also, but took advantage of being inside on a hot day.
We came for a coffee catchup, great place to catch up with friends. We didn't order food but looked amazing on the plates of others around us.

This is my new favourite cafe. I'm addicted to the Cuban Foccasia Toastie, and their orange juice is just amazing. I love their rotation of coffees.

My only wish is that they were open a little while longer on Mondays + Tuesdays.

Stopped in for coffee and cake. Although they won't take a booking we got a table for 6 on a busy Sunday morning. Nice coffee, good service.

Awesome coffee made by passionate barista's who have a great knowledge of the beans and brews. Great food options, excellent kids menu. Super friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. Handmade pizzas are brilliant. They have started stocking products made locally by residents of the surrounding area.

2nd time had delivery and for 2nd time Pizza was barely warm. Need to lift your game, no one pays for cold pizza especially over Easter with 15% surcharge!

Had lunch here with a friend today. It’s been a long time since I’ve had service that good. Although young staff they were all externally attentive and friendly but without being overbearing. They knew the menu well, were keen to warn us in advance that the meals were quite large so take away containers would be supplied if needed, and boy they weren’t kidding. I can put my food away but the meals were substantial. That didn’t take away from the quality of the food though. The pizza was delicious, one of the best gourmet pizzas I’ve had, the chicken burger was perfectly cooked as were the truffle fries. The garlic balls were to die for!
Will definitely be back again!
