Warragul Leisure Centre reviews
17Very friendly staff, and a great basketball facility with good Kiosk. My son plays basketball and the whole atmosphere is respectful and competitive. Very good
I can’t speak highly enough of the staff at Warragul pool. My son is severely disabled with complex needs and behaviours and they are thoughtful, helpful and accommodating- definitely 5 stars!
I been to the pool this morning at 6am the pool was fantastic and the staff were very friendly so I be going back there again
Great pool! Awesome for kids (two pools) and has an indoor and outdoor pool for lap swimming and messing around. There's also a warm pool for rehab, stretching etc. Costs an extra $2 but can be worth it if you want to deload. There's a nice park right across the road where you can do an easy, short run if you want to do a combo run/swim.
Family friendly. Helpful and friendly staff. Great for younger kids to play indoors. Swimming instructors do a great job with the kids.
Pitty the roof leaks when is rains so basketball games get cancelled apart from that good place to go swim.
Wonderful service
Lovely and friendly staff
A shoulder to lean on when in need and very helpful
So glad to be back lap swimming in the outdoor pool. Compliments to the staff and management on a beautifully run pool.
I found the service at the front desk very friendly. And the price of using facilities very reasonable. Also, life guards were very helpful and patient with us oldies using the warm water pool. Showers etc. Very clean and well presented. I will be going twice a week, i am so pleased with everything.
I cant believe I cant use plastic to gain admission to a basket ball game. Backwards narrow minded people obviously running the show. Not everyone carries cash. Very poor
It's an amazing place with great facilities. You can pay only 4 dollars to go shoot some hoops in the basketball court. And then after that go enjoy the water and have a swim!
This is Bill Johnson father of Doug Johnson WARRAGUL Leisure Centre is fabulous asset to the WARRAGUL community for me the HYDRO Pool is my therapy brain and body
️
Take my daughter here often. She loves it here. Especially with the kids area. There are fun little things and things.
Great for swimming with friends or just to get better at swimming and great for basketball games on their courts
A fantastic asset for Warragul and the surrounding area! Why? (1) It’s located right near some beautiful public gardens which if you walk through you’ll be in the Warragul CBD. (2) WLC are only closed on 2 public holidays of the year. (3) They have a huge indoor aquatic area, a pool area for kids and 25metre pool with plenty of lap lanes for swimmers. (4) An indoor warm water exercise pool for rehab, about the only facility in the region to have this! (5) An outdoor 50 metre pool, heated to 22 degrees which can be used through the summer til end of April.
It also has a gym, small cafe and shop. For me, as a swimmer it ticks all the boxes!
Love the indoor heated pool for injury recovery or just to relax and sooth sore and tired muscles.
Outdoor pool open over the summer months is at a comfortable temperature.
Life guards are professional and friendly as are all other staff.
Kiddies pool looks like a lot of fun
Facility is fine but the 12 year old looking life guards made everyone there feel uncomfortable. To a point where it was worse than a library. Every one quiet to scared to have fun and enjoyment. As a respected military officer and safety advisor, they made it feel almost as it was miltary establishment. Also if an adult of 120 to 150 kilos actually was in need of assistance, those juniors would not have had the upper body strength nor the life experience to assist properly. Again the facility is fine but the junior life guards treating people with disrespect and severely suffered from the I am God complex.
