7 A true delight in every way! The staff are super friendly and welcoming - you feel like you've known them for years!
A personal favourite are the delicious potato cakes (or as us Queenslanders say 'potato scallops', made to order. Definitely worth popping in to this little gem of a general store.
As a visiting bird watcher I was surprised to find the owners of this shop know a lot about birds! Helpfully set us off in the direction of a veritable bird paradise in Warneet with ice creams and drinks at the ready. Super friendly, chatty and knowledgeable, great ambassadors for the area. Thanks guys!

This General Store has remained open servicing the small community of Warneet during all of the lockdowns with friendly family service between 8am to 8pm Sunday to Thursday and 8am to 9pm Friday and Saturday. They offer a fantastic service to locals and visitors with a variety of items including alcohol, groceries, ice creams, deli items, bait and tackle, drinks and more. They do offer a Take Away menu between 4.30pm to 7.15pm every night and for lunch every day.
This shop doesn't stick to the takeaway fish and chips hours. Can't be bothered making batter for certain items. Not everything listed on the menu is available. I give up.
Always been a great little store with friendly staff. Sure is a nice spot to have lunch and a samich.
I ordered a steak sandwich by phone order, walked to store and order was ready but I'd found my wallet was empty, my car was broken into that day and I hadn't checked wallet as it was hidden and was still there, I apologized and told her I'd have to cancel and showed her police report, she let me have it anyway. It was delicious. I came in next day to pay for it and of course got another. I would probably go there 3 times a week whenever I'm in the area. Fish is delicious. They also very helpful with advice on the area
