Warhammer

The guy working on 28/10/23 was extremely rude. Went in to pick up a free monthly fig and he said I had to build in store. As I was running errands I did not have time. This is the first time I have been told this and had also picked up a free fig from the store in the past and simply walked out. Now I've wasted time for nothing and had a bad experience. Absolute trash customer service. This guy needs better training before running a store.

Staff are super helpful and friendly- if you dig miniatures they also usually have a free mini each month (just have to build it in store!)

The manager Matt was very patient with all my silly newbie questions and helped me get what I was after and get started, totally non-pushy, really just wants to help people enjoy the hobby, appreciated it a lot and will be back.

Very welcoming to beginners to the hobby. Helpful and enthusiastic staff who are more than happy to assist. Fantastic miniatures on display to give you lots of inspiration, and an easy to navigate store makes it simple to find what you are after. Highly recommend!

Great range and friendly service, I was on the hunt for a specific box, managed to find it here. The manager, Matt went above and beyond in helping me and was enjoyable to chat with. I will return here.

Nice layout and friendly staff. Fully knowledgeable and creating a friendly atmosphere for new people who enter the store.

Huge range, standard prices for warhammer, and have a huge amount of advice for anyone who wanted it whether loyal customers or never been there before. Very friendly. Will definitely come again. Only complaint would be one criticism about user error with a particular painting technique without really offering advice, but maybe that's what the painting workshops are for.

Staff are sick! After dipping my toe into the world of Warhammer, I decided to commit fully and found my experience here super helpful. Matt was very knowledgeable and helped me through some paint selections offering tips and pairings as we went. He also explained more about the community and how I could engage with it, even adding me to a local gaming group so I could take my hobbying to the tabletop. If I could give 10 stars I would.

The manager of this place is knowledgeable respectful and very passionate all good qualities to have, something to note is bookings for paint sessions and games have to be made via facebook and messenger and they always reply very quickly.while im not a massive fan of some of the GW paints this shop has exactly what you need to get started and if you are starting out or a veteran, I highly reccomend this store and appreciate the advice from staff.

Matt was extremely informative and for some one looking to start out in Warhammer provided great advice without being sale pushy.

These really don’t like it when you have an opinion that disagrees to their own. Also know your facts they thought blood bowl never existed before 2016!

I had not been in a games Workshop for 21yrs & Matt was so nice at Welcoming me back.

The staff are just absolutely stellar and genuine folks. They don't force upselling tactics and let you enjoy the products at your own pace. Always willing to help, always care about my orders and knowledgeable as all hell.

Always a pleasure to go in and experience what Warhammer has to offer. Especially when you get to chat to Matt about everything, he's a wealth of knowledge about literally anything and everything Warhammer, whether you're a newbie (like me) or want to chat about a specific event/army in the universe. It's awesome!

A must visit if you are looking at getting back into or learning about everything warhammer. Painting, game sessions and more.

Small 1-person store, so the hours are a bit dodgy as the poor guy n there needs to close for his lunch break (not his fault!) but always friendly and enthusiastic to answer questions, help with advice, get what you need from the store stock or discuss the hobby.
