Warburton Motel

Very disappointing experience here on Saturday night. We booked a ground floor room. Unfortunately, it turned out that the walls are paper thin. The people in the room above us partied long into the night & morning.
I didn’t feel safe enough to ask them to quiet down. Although, you could argue that responsibility should also fall on the owners. As the building itself has to be substandard to hear the neighbours as loudly as we could. If you rely on sleep don’t book here. Disheartening as our friends recently purchased a caravan in the holiday park & we had intended on visiting this hotel regularly given the location.

Loved our stay at Warburton Motel. Rooms were super clean + cosy and the beds were comfy. Richard + Simone were so welcoming - you can tell so much love and thought is put into running this place. Also recommend the river tubing with these guys - a highlight of our stay! Thank you, can't wait to visit again in the future:)

Fab location for bike trails and trail running. We loved our stay here and will be back.

Wonderfully tranquil getaway. Simone and Richard were great communicators and went above and beyond looking after our happiness at their fantastic Motel which has everything you need for a holiday in the mountains.
There's bike storage, a camp kitchen and even coffee vouchers for a great eatery in the town. I liked it so much that I came back the very next week with my partner.

Superb customer service. Sorted out a booking issue (we entered the wrong date!) and not only did they fix it on the spot, but we received a slight upgrade.

We have stayed here multiple times now and look forward to our next visit!

Recently renovated rooms, clean functional setup, comfy beds. AC and heater, new tv and appliances. Customer service is A1

I had a great stay at Warburton Motel. The room was clean and comfortable, and Richard and Simone were very friendly and great to chat with. I also enjoyed hanging out at the communal fire pit. The motel is close to great hiking and outdoor activities. It's a really beautiful area and this will be the place I return to when I visit again!

This place should be condemned!
Absolutely disgusting and nothing like the photos which are probably taken 5 years ago. We were there 10 minutes and they wouldn't give us a refund as he said we checked in 4 hrs ago. Very unsafe. Opened the window and fly screen fell off, wall light was hanging by electrical tape. Air conditioner was only half a unit on the wall and so obviously didn't work. The front door had holes all over it and the lock had been torn off the wall.fridge wasnt clean, roof outside our room was broken and hanging down, cigarette butts everywhere. Old furniture in Carpark like the tip.

Stayed there with my adult family over long weekend in tree tops suite. Spacious and comfortable with everything you could need and want together with lovely views.
Very restful and relaxing for the soul.
Easy stroll to the wonderful township of Warburton.
Owners Simone and Richard were very friendly, accommodating and helpful with suggestions.
Highly recommended and would love to return!

This was a great place to stay. The owners were very accomodating to our late arrival, and the contactless entry/exit was very easy. The room was clean and tidy, and the bed was so comfortable! No issues at all.

Fantastic day out especially if you have teenage kids. The tubes can swirl quite a lot and you could get pretty sea sick!

Stunning location, perfect for mountain biking, hiking, river rafting, very cool, comfy accommodation it.

What a hidden gem Didn't stay at the accommodation, but hired floating tubes to ride down the Yarra river for 1.5 hours in such beautiful, natural surrounds plus a 3 course dinner package cooked by authentic Italian chefs and it was such a great experience. Absolutely loved it

My wife and I had a lovely 3-night stay at the Warburton Motel and could have stayed longer. The highlights for us included eating at the pop-up Mamma Santoros restaurant at the Motel, relaxing on the grounds and chatting with other visitors, redwood Forrest, running the local trails, walking to town and spending time at the river. We had intended to drive to some of the other towns but enjoyed Warburton so much we never left, a gem of a place. The owners Richard and Simone are wonderful. You can tell they are truly invested in creating a fun special place and care about each guest. Would easily recommend to others!

What a lovely surprise. Great grounds with little relaxing nooks. A firepit to sit back with a glass. So relaxing amongst the trees. The room was well cared for, comfy beds and very clean. Thoughtful and helpful owners. We will be back.

I recently stayed here on a bike packing trip. Richard and Simone are super friendly and welcoming. The room was super clean and bed was really comfy. Can’t recommended this place more! Will definitely be back.

A beautiful location! The hotel is retro styled with simple but clean rooms. You are going to spend most of your time out and about - so you only need the basics at the motel.

Richard and Simone are excellent hosts who were very attentive to our questions. They are running an effective Covid safe check-in at the moment too which is ace. We organised bike hire and river tubing which is all conveniently located on-site at the motel. It’s a short stroll to the local shops for any small items and looks to be some great vintage shops.

Richard was able to give us biking tips for my son and I too which were spot on. I would definitely come back and stay again. It is perfect for families of all ages with lots to entertain them. Once Warburton opens up the new mountain biking trails it is going to be even better!

I loved staying here it was scenically beautiful location. The rooms were clean and spacious. I loved how freshly furnished and modernised it was. Would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful accomodation in a beautiful location. The motel has been lovingly restored and maintained, and the owners were incredibly accomodating when we had to delay our stay. Our room was meticulously clean and we really appreciated the superb quality of the mattress and linens. The gardens and communal spaces were also gorgeous and beautifully cared for. Thank you so much, we will be back and recommending to friends and family!
