Like most lately I had hit a pothole at speed and damaged a rim and tyre beyond repair. Being so far from home I managed to get some distance from the space saved before it too suffered.
After ringing multiple dealerships, none wanted to help. “We have no stock sorry”.
I arranged a tow to Wangaratta Hyundai who at least said they would see what they could do. After a quick inspection and chat they asked me to leave it with them and they’ll try and sort something out.
A few hours later they called to say my car is right to go. They sourced from their odds and ends some rims to fit and get me back on the road. They went above and beyond to get my car back on the road the same day.
More than I can say for some other dealers.
Effort definitely needs to be recognised. Thank you.

Honestly could not fault the guys at Wangaratta Motor Groupon the used car department. From the minute we walked in to the minute we drove out we were treated with the upmost respect and kindness. They all made buying our car a relaxing and not stressful at all. Nothing was a hassle.

Have been to this dealership twice to look at New cars. Walked the yard from Toyota to Nissan. Hopped into all the new SUVs and was not approached by one staff member. When walking into the Isuzu dealership I was greeted by one staff member. I had to ask specific questions, I wasn't offered any real information on the car. I was told they take 6 months to arrive without even asking or being told anything about the car. It was as though they don't want to sell cars, they just want to go back to their desk and do nothing. Ended up calling Melbourne dealership where they actually wanted to sell me a vehicle. Sorry guys would much prefer local but the service is very below par.

Thoroughly recommend the sales and service team. Purchased a large 2019 SUV remotely from Melbourne. Delivered to front door. Really happy with the vehicle and friendly service provided. Five star service.

Last weekend we needed to upgrade to a bigger & safer car for the newest addition to our little family. We were taken such good care of here. The sales professional, Damien, was just so knowledgeable and guided us through all the way. We were also helped by Cyn, she was very supportive & helped us find the right window tint (to protect our little one from the sun) and interior treatment, to protect our car from the little one's spills! Overall a nice smooth experience, and we are very happy with our new family car.

We had the easiest and most effortless experience buying a second hand car from Wangaratta motor group. We just popped in one afternoon, saw a beautifully presented car, Shaun and John were just so helpful and easy to talk to. We were given a fair trade in price on our car and we felt the change over price was good too. Shaun delivered the car to us in Bright, two days later. He went through the car with us to make sure we knew how to work things, then he drove our old car back. This is how it should be; no stress, doing honest, fair deals with honest, fair people. I recently purchased a new Subaru Forester from the Wangaratta Motor Group, and I would have to say they exceeded all my expectations. From the initial enquiry, negotiations on trade in price, through to the new vehicle delivery, the staff were exceptional. I travelled some distance in order to make this purchase because of many factors, delivery, price, trade in price and most importantly, their service. Honest and just good old fashioned customer service. I have purchased quite a few new vehicles in my time, and I would have to say Wangaratta Motor Group left the rest for dead. Bought a used Jeep from Scott and Financed with Darren.
Scott worked over the Easter public holidays, and Darren supplied finance in super fast time. All communication was very professional, and I felt a great security in the care of explaining every step. Scott and Darren are a credit to Wangaratta Motor Group.
On arrival I was greeted by John the used car sales manager, and he was welcoming and knew all about who I was and who I needed to see.
Absolutely genuine team!

Sent my PORSCHE on the tow truck Monday to get paint and panel work with insurance company told the insurance company that there was a couple of other issues i go to the repair and they tell me the car is at wangaratta motor group with Nissan speak to Wayne. I arrived there with no approval from me for my vehicle to be there with one near flat tire coolant leaking and a extra hundred odd kilometers on the clock. Call the insurance company who didn't know the car was there i asked Wayne from Nissan who is qualified to look at a Porsche and why is it here he stated and i quote (no one is qualified to look at Porsche here and i spent half a hour looking at the electrical of the vehicle and we have to do a vehicle inspection for insurance) insurance company didn't know it was there.then dean come out and the story changed from Wayne he spent 3 minutes looking at the cooling system (but not qualified to look at Porsche) he also refused to give me my keys. Returned that afternoon to take photos of the vehicle tire pumped up and larger coolant patches on the ground. Again dean stated we are not qualified to look at this vehicle i said the insurance company didn't know it was here until i called this morning standing in front of it here he said i know he then tried to get Wayne to get my other keys off me i left then had been told the vehicle had been at a car yard in wodonga i called dean who called me back and he refused to provide evidence that the vehicle had not left there yard at wangaratta and i quote (CCTV footage covers the whole yard) i said well show me he said i quote (o um its new i dont know if it gets that part of the yard but ill pay the tow truck to take anywhere you want get it out by tomorrow 5pm I'll pay for it) also stated we took the radiator cap off to check the radiator.funny thing that it does not have a radiator cap and its a hour job just to get to the top of radiator.but still will not provide evidence of where it has or has not been or what has or has not been done to it. Called police at wangaratta who stated something VERY FISHY but can't do anything at this stage due to insurance company but insurance company didn't know it was there.

So please people do your self a favor and remember this right here and question is this the place for you and your vehicle and would a family owned business do that to another family.

If they can not be honest on one thing how many other things has wangaratta motor group been dishonest about!

Purchased a Used vehicle from WMG Nov 2020. Outstanding customer service from the start. The offer to deliver the car to me on the Mornington Peninsula was made without prompting, and arrived as described, and as agreed. All calls and emails were returned promptly from sales and finance. Couldn’t be happier with the service, and most importantly, the vehicle!

Pleasure to buy from! Provided great service, really responsive and John and Gary were both very reasonable to deal with. Drove the car to Melbourne, provided heaps of detail and answered all of my questions throughout the process.
