Great place especially for kids and dogs. Lots of off lead areas for the dogs. Plenty for the kids to do. Nice and spread out. Dog friendly cabins have a good little yard for dogs and to sit and have a drink.

A really out of the way camping/caravaning/cabin resort geared up for families. Lots of activities to keep the kids amused from bike riding, canoeing, archery, tennis and more. Pet friendly too. Don't expect your kids to come and be on their tech stuff as there is no internet and not a lot of phone coverage. Even the TV struggled to get a signal at times but what a great way to reconnect with family and friends. Make sure to bring all your food too as the closest town is about 15 to 20 minutes away. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Thanks.we had a great little getaway.:)

What a hidden gem! We stayed in the retreat house and had the best time. Will definitely be back. The only downfall is there is no phone reception but other than that it was amazing!

We camped in unpowered site. So many shady areas, new toilet block and BBQ area with wooden table and chairs. Very good value for money. We pretty much had the whole area to ourselves. Staff were super friendly!

Stayed in the duplex cabins. Clean, quiet, friendly staff, exactly what we needed. But most importantly, dog friendly. Lots of locations for walks. Highly recommend

We absolutely love this beautiful property. Natural bushland to walk the dog off lead. BMX tracks, new pool, amenities etc. Great managers. We are booked to return!

A hidden gem amongst nature. If you want to be among the gum trees, to be 'unplugged' where kids can just learn to play without the help of technology, this is your perfect rustic retreat.

Not a bad camp spot at all. The creek isn't flowing anymore so was quite murky and they had double booked our site which meant our group of 4 ended up seperated.

Travelling to Wakiti creek resort, bitumen onto rough gravel road plenty of grooves in the road, via Barmah VIC. On travelling the rain pelted down, wind we were more concerned with the over hanging tree branches across the roads. On arrival was told push bikes, bike track, Archery, tennis courts, 2x swimming pools, 2x amenities, camp kitchen, games room.creek very little water, understandable being in a drought. We walked around checking everything out one end to the other, spaced out. Used the games room and what was in their as children do. Push bikes, i recommend take your own as their bikes poor condition all having flat or punctured tyres, rusty brakes, loose chains were not attached.seating wet from the rain. We found a bike, hoping itwas suitable, put air in the tyres, and asked for spanner to lower the seat the guy lowered the seat, i say needs to be lowered more that did not happen.seating was not lowered enoughed child was unable to ride the bike. The track was wet and muddy anyway. Still child could of riden around the park road. Archery unable to get the equipment as the store was closed. Too cold for swimming, lucky enough we were with a group of people and entertained our selves, with finska, line dancing and grocery grab happy hour and movie, returning to our sleeping accomodation to eat play board games which we always travel with. We also witnessed a tree branch falling near the creek. We did have a very safe secure few nights sleep staying at this place, dogs are allowed on leash, suppose to be others like to allow the mut to roam free and disturb others and become a nuisance. I gave this place a 2 star, access to the place, advertisement of activities but yet, store closed to gain access to archery eqiupment and push bikes in poor condition, excuses do not make allowance for the overall condition of the bikes. Group we were with used the camp kitchen tennis courts, amenities, games room, camp fire of an evening. BBQ facilities, which could do with some serious cleaning or upgrading. Laundry facilities unsure of cost, dump point on site. One power box accomodates 4 power outlets and 4 taps if your further from the power box 20 t0 30 metre 15 amp lead.

Back after 7 years and unfortunately not what it used to be, mainly due to the current drought, massive dust bowl and no flowing Weir. Pool area is great, good site sizes and plenty of room for kids to guide. Very friendly staff, however, over the New Years break, the toilets and showers were not attended to properly, they were quite disgusting actually (takes A LOT to disgust me) and they had a new bloke at reception for the same week that apparently hadn't learnt how to use the Eftpos machine, he had 6 days (at least) so was constantly asking for cash only. I can't recommend I'm sorry.

Good range of activities. Cabins well appointed. Only negatives very poor mobile phone reception and very dusty access road due to dry weather.

Friendly staff, quiet clean resort, loved the ghost gums right outside the door. We looked for comfort, (tick), grandchildren looked for something to do and found it straight away, with a beaut playground and bikes they could have for all of their stay and a bmx track.
Everything worked, everything was clean.
Our two dogs enjoyed their holiday.
Thank you Julie and John

Great winter spot.nice and flat and allowing dogs and fires was a big big plus. Bush is great too! There is a new pool going in for summer with plenty to keep but adults and kids occupied throughout the stay.check it out.big thumbs up from us.

I went to wakiti creek for christmas and new years eve with my family and my brothers family and stayed in the retreat cabin. We made so many complaints to the management about our spa having dead skin floating on top of the water that it fell on deaf ears until Darcy came over after 7 days of complaining and cleaned it properly. I would strongly advise people to stay away from this place as they would rather take your hard earned money to fix their own residence up then to spend it back into the whole resort to keep it up to date and to make more improvements. They didnt even have a place outdoors for my dogs to sleep outside or even play or go to the toilet so if we went out into echuca we had to lock them up in the laundry. I know that in future my family will never come back to wakiti creek resort
