Absolutely wonderful! 10/10 services, quality of work and care. They look after you so well while you’re there. I was also pleased to see they knew how to handle my Afro hair, transforming it without causing damage is something not many salons in Melbourne can do. So pleased with my results and quality of hair even after adding colour to it.

Absolutely amazing! Rima AND Mya did an amazing job and pulled off one hell of a transformation. My hair is black, thick and long and they managed to turned it into a stunning copper brunette, ALL IN ONE SITTING. Both Rima and Mya are very welcoming make you feel as if you’re part of the family. Cannot recommend Vuda enough I will definitely be back

Amazing service. I didn’t know what I wanted to do with my hair so I let her do what ever she thought would suit me. I’m so happy with the result. It’s a beautiful store and everyone working was so lovely and welcoming. I definitely would recommend ️ Definitely will go back, they gave my hair so much life after I ruined it from bleach. It now looks so much fuller, thick and healthy!

After reading some good reviews about this place, my girlfriend decided to book in for a hair treatment, but ended up having a horrid experience. Keeping in mind, it may have been an off day for the staff at Vuda, as the overall experience did not seem to match at all the reputation or feedback from other customers, there were just too many negatives to ignore.

My girlfriend has had the same treatment done at other salons in two hours or less - but for some reason it took close to six hours at Vuda. This by itself wouldn't necessarily be a negative, however a lot of this time was spent re-doing work that had been done incorrectly. We also got the impression that an unfair portion of time was spent by staff focussing on chatting/social media, while she was in the chair waiting for the next step in the treatment.
Additionally, at the end of the treatment, the staff insisted a mini photoshoot for their social media accounts, adding further unwanted delays.

When it came to pay, as Vuda did not provide an upfront quote on how much the treatment was going to cost, we got a shock that the styling was going to cost close to $600; which again, in comparison to other salons which we've gone to for the same kind of treatment, is significantly more expensive (we'd normally pay $250 - $350). We noticed several charges for treatments that were given without notice or request. While the high cost might not have been so bad if the quality of service and treatment was exemplary, it couldn't have been further from it.

While we don't think staff at Vuda deliberately tried to make my girlfriend's experience a horrible one, we did want to write and share a review so that hopefully this kind of experience, which showed a lack of professionalism and customer service, doesn't happen again.

Unfortunately, due to this negative experience, we won't be returning, however we do hope the service improves for future customers, and we think offering hair treatment quotations upfront so no other customer has a similar shock and a greater respect for customers' time would be a good start.

Absolutely love my new hair! I came in not sure what I wanted to do with my hair, I left it all up to Rima and LOVED my result! If you choose to book here trust you’ll be in the safest of hands and you’ll be feeling like a million bucks by the time you leave

After a 'cut my own hair in lockdown' mess, Rima managed to make it look healthy and lovely again. I've never known how to describe how I want my hair to look, but Rima knew exactly what I was going for, what suited me, and even gave my hair the summery, sun-soaked look I was after without using bleach to dye it! The salon is gorgeous, welcoming, and comfortable - I'll be returning and recommending!

The people here were phenomenal, she looked after me as soon as I walked in, while I was waiting I was asked if I was hungry or if I wanted a coffee. They were very friendly and instantly made me feel comfortable. I enjoyed being there and they looked after me so much and my hair turned out amazing, I was Inlove with my hair Inlove with the salon and Inlove with the staff, I will only ever come back to this salon as they are so professional so clean and good at what they do. I am obsessed with my hair colour as no other hair dresser ever made me look this good before. They aren’t lazy, they care about their clients and she made sure my hair was 10/10 before I left the salon, please come here and you’ll understand why I’m so happy with this salon
