Volpino Pizzeria and Wine Bar

Really nice pizza, great service. Had a lovely chat with the owner who was so accomodating and thoughtful. Would recommend this place for sure! Really appreciated the complimentary olives with our drinks, nice touch.

Arrived and was only asked what water we wanted to order. No other questions asked. Then ordered margherita with smoked ham. Pizza had little to no cheese, sloppy, very salty and barely any smoked ham on it. Not good enough, not value for money. Had to chase up with a waitress to see if we could order drinks. Received one of them and the other no where to be seen. Had to ask again and she thought i was ordering another drink on top. Stopped her there and said we never got it. Barely any customers in today, only four tables were occupied and 5 workers, so really no excuse. Needs improvement and training.

Late in getting order ready, ordered 1 pizza that’s it where tf is it? 5 years later not here still waiting

Such a little Gem. Fabulous restaurant. Food was the best I've tasted in a very long time. Lunch time menu very reasonably priced. Highly recommended Customer service was spot on, will be back

Came here for the first time on a Friday night and had great service and food. Loved the white anchovies and wood fired pizza's. Would recommend this place to my friends.

Volpinos is our go to Birthday Celebration Restaurant. Ordering Pizza or Pasta from the specials board, adding the obligatory margarita pizza, a salad and a few drinks - it was what makes every family birthday special for us. If you are looking for the best and the freshest ordering from the Volpinos special board is highly recommended.

Pizza was classic Italian, great service and great prices, a good challenge to Main st Mornington

Such an amazing restaurant. Delicious food and exceptional service. Everyone is kind and friendly. Volpino is our regular stop when we are on holiday in Peninsula.

The pizza served here was AMAZING. The crust is one of the best crust I’ve ever had. Was in love with the truffle mushroom pizza. So good. Can’t wait to come back. Vibes were great too.

Food was super fresh and delicious, great pizza & seafood pasta! Will have to try the charcuterie board next time as the table next to us got it and it looked great!

The young lady that served us was an absolute superstar & went well above and beyond to accomodate us and our two children.
The gentleman who I presume was the owner / manager went to the extent of taking our baby’s bottle to the shop next door to heat it up as they do not use a microwave in the kitchen!

First time here. Got greeted soon as i walk close and seated within seconds. Great food and very friendly and helpful staff

Not a good look when a staff member licks her fingers after serving ice cream into a bowl and continues on working

Had a terrific lunch here last week. We ordered from the extensive specials board.bacon, leek and parmesan croquettes to start, home made gnocchi with mushrooms and sweet potato pizza.all were really tasty and perfectly cooked. Front of house service was also excellent.

Staff were great, service was good and the food was delicious, the Muscles are to die for, definitely will be back.

On our first trip to Mt Martha, Volpino was a great choice. Although super busy for a Friday eve warm nights dinner, we were eventually attended to by a very friendly (albeit bit cheeky!) waiter who knew the menu and wine list perfectly. The seafood handmade tagliatelle and the beef ragu were matched perfectly with suggested wines. The bustling atmosphere gave a seaside Italian vibe. A great experience. Will try the mushroom pizza next time.

Service was very good l had the seafood pasta, could have been a bit more generous with it seeing pasta is cheap and the seafood was only 3 prawns, a few small pieces of fish and a few clams and nothing else overrated considering the dish was $36. Luckily there’s a lot of other nice restaurants nearby to try

A perfect spot for a pizza or pasta. We stopped for Sunday lunch and had a delicious, generous seafood spaghetti and a beautifully cooked lamb backstrap with cauliflower puree. Staff are attentive, friendly and efficient.

Went with a group of friends. Manager was rude from the very beginning, he told off my 4 yr old for being noisy and generally found him less friendly with our group as compared to the other guests in the restaurant. Would not recommend this restaurant.

We booked a table for 14,8 adults and 6 kids. While the all other staff members were nice and kind the owner (David/Simon) was extremely rude right from get go. He told off the kids for being kids, was blunt and rude to any questions about food/drinks. And when I confronted him about his behaviour directed to just our table he said have you tried working with a mask on. Can’t believe he is in the business for 20 years. May be because Volpino likes serving only customers who look like Mr David. Will never visit this place again. This guy needs to put a sign outside his place “Non whites and their kids not welcomed”
