We used VMD Interiors for a full house renovation in Parkdale and could not be happier with the service and outcome of our experience with Vikki and her team! Every detail of the design was stylish and practical for a family of four and we constantly receive compliments for how amazing the house looks now. We engaged VMD Interiors for our extensive renovation of our 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom plus study penthouse apartment in South Yarra, to address the issues we had with our “off the plan”apartment layout and cabinetry quality, which were of great frustration to us.

Initially we had some design ideas of our own, but had no idea where or how to start. After an initial consultation we knew that Vikki and the team at VMD Interiors were the perfect match for our needs.

VMD designed a brand new kitchen, laundry/butler’s pantry, wardrobes, new flooring throughout, cabinetry design for wardrobes, study, living room, and an amazing study nook in the third bedroom which gives us a second working from home option! Vikki expertly guided us through selecting lighting, curtains and electric blinds, artwork, stunning feature wallpaper in the living room and main bedroom, along with paint colour selections, new furnishings for the living room, cabinetry colour and materials selection, and natural stone selection for kitchen and laundry/butler’s pantry.

During the project we found Vikki’s expertise invaluable to develop a cohesive design throughout the apartment which completely elevated the style and functionality to an outstanding level. Vikki was very open to creative discussion and incorporated and/or adapted many of our ideas into the overall design. With Vikki’s guidance and expertise this has really contributed to us feeling that the apartment is truly our home.

We’re completely delighted with the improved layout, providing vastly improved functionality (especially in the kitchen and laundry/butler’s pantry), along with so much more functional storage space which meets our apartment living needs.

Vikki has developed connections with suppliers and builders that meet her high standards for quality and dependability, that has resulted in an outstanding overall outcome.

Vikki and her team took the time to really understand our house, our needs and our budget and brought together an interior makeover that truly transformed our home.

When I first met with Vikki I was uncertain as to how to change up my home to give me better work and living space.
I found Vikki to be knowledgeable, practical, personable and listened to my needs, coming up with some excellent suggestions that I would never have thought of myself. I enjoyed the interaction with Vikki and especially her innovative ideas which i have implemented and which work really well.

Vikki and her team did an incredible job helping me discover what I was looking for in a home. The space we had to work with was challenging, and Vikki was able to find the combination of key pieces and decorations that truly made me feel like my home reflects my personality. She managed the process end to end and thoughtfully catered for the budget I had. Instead of showing me over priced branded pieces, she used her network of specialist suppliers to tailor a suite of items that efficiently suited the space. We used Vicki and her team to furnish and decorate our 2 br terrace in North Fitzroy. We are extremely pleased with the result and dealing with VMD during the process was a delight - response time and knowledge of our job was outstanding. Highly recommended.

We engaged Vikki to partially set up our brand new apartment while we were interstate during covid lockdown

We coordinated with her online to organise bed, bedding, sofa blinds and curtains amongst others.with the rest to be finalised when we move in. I work from home and requested for a customdesk to be built

We are very displeased with the products we received - sofa is nothing like what was shown to us in her showroom. Lacks a nice finish- not as comfortable.

The sofa build does not do justice to the fabric we chose is for the upholstery.

Curtains in one of the bedroom was short - as they got the measurement wrong.even though they must have gone it take measurement a good 3 times.
Blinds in the same bedroom is split between window and door- which means there is a gap where light comes through.very annoying.

None of the furnitures were ready when we moved in as they got the dates mixed up.
We had to unpack a mattress and sheets on the night of our arrival when we expected to have it all set as per our agreeement and what we paid for in advance in our package.

The desk was not built and never got made due to delay- i had to buy a folded table from bunning until our furniture arrived to us from interstate.

They lack the attention to details and professionalism to run an operative. I would have prefered Vikki be upfront with me and say so when we engaged her. I would have made other arrangements and have different expectations.

Vikki and her team provided great advice on design, referred me to an excellent drafts person and assisted with color selection. The overall look and feel is coming together beautifully!
