Vizard Foundation House

I have just come back home from Vizard House after 4.5 weeks attending ICON at Epworth. Being from Far East Gippsland I found the place just like home thanks to Monica, staff and ever changing residents. Being one of the longer term there, we formed into a group giving everyone support by having an ever open ear and sharing. Hospital time is never a good time but it really helps when you have a great place to stay and good friends to share with.
Once again thanks to the Vizard Foundation, Monica and staff and the many friends I made there. And Purr-ue the cat.

Wow, what an amazing caring and comfortable environment. I'm forever grateful to the marvelous Monica and Vizard House, who accommodated my stay, when I had to fly to Melbourne from New Zealand, to be with my critically ill father. Thank you so much. This amazing charitable foundation is an asset to the Victorian community.

This is my second stay at Vizard House accommodation (very low cost) for people attending hospital medical appointments. I came down from Rushworth for a MRI at St Vincent’s Hospital. Everything is to high standard. There is an excellent kitchen and the lounge is very cool indeed with leather seats and lounge with a nice view of the Fitzroy Gardens. My weekend was to catch up with my son and daughter alas my sinusitis got a stranglehold on me so was bedridden for two days so better luck next time. Monica is lovely host too boot!
