I trained in the empire boxing gym section of the club. Really friendly gym staff upon entry. Empire boxing gym coaches and boxers are super friendly and will treat you like family.

Could use a better range of free weights for deadlifts, squats, etc.but a great gym for beginners to intermediate

Loved it. I'd recommend only coming with friends, otherwise it'll be slightly boring. But that might just be because I'm not too into trampolines and stuff

If any of you are fans of the Netflix series KINGDOM then Viva Gym is as close as you will get to Navy St Venice Beach. Great vibe. You are greeted by the most friendliest of staff. They have a great cafe/juice bar incase you skipped a meal or need to load up on a fresh protein shake or coffee. The gym is absolutely spotless. Feels like the equipment is brand new! Very clean! They have a salon, infra red sauna, a proper fight club with pro mma fighters. It is difficult not to rise above your own level while you are there. No egos. Just positive people with a common interest to improve physically.

Now more than ever you look for an environment that makes you feel welcome and projects a high level of cleanliness. Adrian, Carlo and the team certainly do this.and the coffee is great!

Lovely staff, air-conditioned cardio area however the women's only section upstairs gets very hot in summer.

I currently attend the gym as a casual. As at 17 Jan 2019, the casual rate was $2.50 but other types of rates are very reasonable. Large shower / toilet /locker area for women. I don't know what the men's facilities are like. After hours access for members for a key deposit. Separate women's gym. Comfortable feel to the gym.

The price of membership here is outstanding! I've just joined up and so far am really impressed with the facilities and the staff.
Guys, if you feel really awkward and hesitant to join a gym, give this one a go. They go out of their way to make it so easy and take all the awkwardness out of the whole experience. They offer 24hr facilities, a female specific space as well as a unisex one, classes for every thing you could possible need as well as other facilities on the premises to make you look and feel amazing. Would highly recommend.
