I had a fantastic experience at Vision Camberwell Optometrists. Jue and his team were incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, I felt really comfortable in their hands. They explained everything thoroughly and emphasised the importance of eye health education. The clinic was clean, efficient, and used advanced technology for the exam. Have been coming here for years seeing Richard, now have switched to Shonit after Richard’s departure. I can see why Richard was comfortable passing things onto him.
There has also been a full renovation with a full suite of new equipment at Shonit’s disposal, will be continuing to come here for the foreseeable future.

My mum and I visited Vision Camberwell on the 17/07/23. We had both attended there before. Mum saw Shonit and I saw Dew, a new employee that I hadn’t met before. Shonit gave him a run down on me, and introduced me to him before my appointment. Dew was so thorough and professional and easy to talk to, I felt right at ease.
After my appointment, I needed new glasses but due to circumstances I am in financial distress at the moment. Shonit spoke to me privately about this and we came up with a plan that I could manage. He also gave me a detailed run down on my elderly mums appointment and follow up treatment needed. I travel 3 hours to camberwell from south gippsland, and I will continue to do so.
These guys are so friendly and so professional that I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a comfortable consultation with friendly professional people who have made such a difference to my eyes.

Shonit's skills are outstanding, not only with this very specialised work but in his manner and demeanour as a person. My son's eye condition was very deteriorated yet Shonit has been able to sculpt and modify the hard lenses to a point where my sons vision is within a very comfortable normal range. He literally gave him a new world view. The service doesnt stop there though he monitors his condition regularly and kindly makes sure he is continuing to do the right thing with his lenses and eyes so they dont deteriorate. So happy to have found this practitioner.

Very disappointed with the work of this optometrist. My elderly mother was charged an exorbitant amount of money to have the same prescription put into new frames. This meant that every time she put them on, she couldn’t see as her eyes had changed dramatically and she thought she had lost the new glasses. We her family, though that she was getting forgetful!

I have keratoconus and after years of dealing with optometrists who told me that there were no solutions or tried to fit me with terrible contacts, Shonit took the time to listen to me and my concerns.

At first I was very skeptical but after speaking with Shonit and getting a fitting I was blown away. He made me the perfect contact lens that is so incredibly comfortable!

Great service with expertise of keratoconus. Really happy with how Shonit described how my eye focuses and works to read (few years ago). Really happy with the service as I now have glasses for small writing reading, computer screen or phone.

I have struggled with my vision for the past 35 years after being diagnosed with keratoconus in my mid 20s. Over that period I have had to rely on glasses after trying multiple types of contacts, including RGPs, hybrid and soft lenses, all with no success. I recently saw Shonit Jagmohan at Vision Camberwell who has successfully fitted me with miniscleral lenses, and after a 6 month program I am ecstatic with the result. Shonit's knowledge, expertise, patience and persistence are remarkable. He genuinely cares about his patients and achieving the best possible outcome. It is not understating it to say these lenses have changed my quality of life. I can now see the golf ball and the stars, as well as drive safely at night I cannot recommend Shonit highly enough!

It is a great comfort to me to have access to the high standard of professional care provided by the team at Vision Camberwell. After having attended various optometrists for over 30 years, I came to Vision Camberwell. At my first appointment, Vision Camberwell identified a structural eye defect which needed correction but had not been identified in the past. Vision Camberwell’s range of glasses is fabulous, and I am very satisfied with the clarity of vision they have achieved for me.
