Vinnies Warragul reviews
12I found the staff rude on several occasions. Yesterday I tried to drop off a few bags of quality donations. And was almost snarled at saying we aren’t excepting donations today!
Absolutely love this opshop! The store staff are also nice:)
Their stocks are fresh weekly, and it never disappoint. I always leave the store with my full bag of purchases
Here are some of the items I bought all from AUD8.00 and below
I bought a shark tooth necklace, very 90's and lost my reading glasses while I was trying on jackets, as you do. The staff placed it on the front counter and when I realized that I had left them, they were right where they should have been, safe and sound. Congratulations to your staff, and actually further commendations for a couple of very nice furs that were almost purchased! I love bargain outlets and it's for a top cause, well done all round.
Favourite place to hunt for a pair of shoes, pants, tops. Furniture, crockery and even brand new rugs n things.
Always come away with items even if not what I went in for! If not been there before.be surprised!
It is amazing the range of stock available in this store. Very good range of Clothing, Shoes, Crockery and Books, to name a few, and plenty of new Bedding, Towels etc at very reasonable prices. The Staff are great and really make you feel welcome. Make sure you visit as it will brighten your day!
Barbara.
Aside from the non working hand sanitizer all good. Got some fab vintage knitting patterns 10 for $1: 00. Utter bargain. Especially the early 60s with a cape pattern and the mid 50s 12 ply fitted jumpers. Great score.
What is going on here? Pre pandemic I would constantly find amazing gems and really nice items
at reasonable prices especially dresses and furniture.
I've been in several times in 2021 and often walk out extremely disappointed and empty handed.
I even saw a beautiful jumper once and it was listed for $25. I jumped on the brands website and it was selling the exact same jumper except brand new for $20. Ever since then I haven't been back.
Op shopping or recycling everyday items has become a popular and necessary option for everyday people. This store is very organised with lots of space to shop safely. I went looking for a new single mattress for a bed at mine for my darling granddaughter and found exactly what I was looking for at a really good price. Op shopping is a new and interesting pastime!
Great service; very friendly and they have a great range of things. I bought many lovely serving plates and platters to use at my wedding from here. I've also bought many dresses from this location and I've loved all of them. A great place to visit if you're an avid op-shopper.
Horrible customer service. My sister has been there twice and they only take donations in a small timeslot, that is not at all flexible. The staff were rude and ungrateful. The third time my sister called ahead to double check that she would be there at the right time to donate, they told her between 10-11am on a Saturday, so she made the 20 minute drive with her toddler daughter, just to be told when she got there that they aren't excepting any more donations today. Also. All she had to donate was one basket of things and a lamp. Very poor customer service to say yes you can come donate, only to be rudely spoken to and turned away on arrival. The lady just shut the back loading dock door on my sister. Not good enough. Will definitely never donate or support this op shop again.
I was actually cold walking around.the A/C must have been on full. I found some good books to read, I did think some of the items were over-priced. My friend and I had just come from Melbourne after collecting some 2nd hand slides.there was a slide box at Vinnies, $30.way too much. A glass bell with a cross on it was also a fiver so both of which i put back down. Book area gets a bit cramped when everyone turns up at the same time.
I absolutely love this store to death. They always provide me with the sickest threads and my mates always give me compliments on my fits. One time I found the coolest pair of purple crocs in here, and after a solid clean, they looked as good as new. I wear them everyday to work, and always keep my feet well cushioned. Sandra always assists me in finding the latest and trendiest items, and gives me the best fashion advice. Thanks San <3
