Vinnies Cranbourne reviews
26I shared my experience yesterday which I can not find now strange anyway St vinnies was selling the item the same as the normal shop price I pointed it out as it is suppose to be that bit more affordable for the people the man was rude so I call the manager Kim in the Cranbourne store the next day and told her what happened she just did not want to know what a joke this is not for the way they should treat people I will never donate or be in their store again
So here we go.
I wasn't sure where to post this but given it's the same organization, it's best here.
Your church, charity, business, run's soup vans, I see one regularly at Narre Warren.
I assume it's origin he's something to do with your Cranbury op shop
One of your clients, recently seriously assaulted me, causing injuries which can't be fixed
I guess being a church you believe in the religious ideology of " saving" all people even if evil
I will make it clear, thus assault wasn't in the presence of your van membes, nor were they in the area,
However, your church as another in Narre Warren, helps violent junkies, mental health patients, ex crims, etc.
The person who assaulted me is regularly given free food by vinnies
Why are you helping the lowest of the low, of society?
I have also posted a review about another local place who helps him.
I will not accept, excuses like drug and alcohol use, mental health, a.d. H.d, he was bullied at school, mummy didn't love him.
Plenty of people, have issues and aren't violent, your van along with another organization shouldn't be allowed to set up around a commercial shopping centre precinct, given some of the clientele you serve
I certainly won't donate even $1 to, any church based charity ever
Isn't it ironic? , How Centrelink pays junkies DSP, yet they can't work
They're fit enough though to attack a senior, I'm in that age range.
If vinnies aren't happy with my review tough
I don't intend on removing it The attack your client committed, is on camera, but won't be reported what hope do I have of justice, when Vinnie's and transit church will just take a clients side
Lovley shop with some reasonably priced items, biggest negative is the two larger guys I've met on occasions when making donations, they have a serious attitude problem and are put out if you donate items that then need to be sorted. I.e a bag with mixed items. No thanks just disgruntled huffing and puffing. They may be volunteering but manners cost nothing.
Cranbourne sells furniture but doesn’t take furniture, why is the management so uneducated, how can you sell it& not accept it.
Vinnie's appreciate the goods that I donate, they don't throw out 90% of what you donate like Salvo, s do.
Sale prices are reasonable too if your a buyer.
I had quite a few bad experiences whilst trying to donate good new clothes at Salvo store in Cranbourne Nth, especially when I discovered most of my donations ended up in the dumpster.just disgusted I was.
I was in Salvo store a few days ago, all you could hear is the staff in the back room smashing things that were kindly donated by genuine public being smashed in the bins.
Terrible customer service. Had beaten up old items overpriced and marked at brand new prices. Even items they had sitting on the shelves for 6months they wouldn’t consider lowering the price on at all, despite it being overpriced to start with. Management should perhaps take a look at their pricing style and think perhaps they’d move more stock if they were slightly more flexible.
Would not come back. Salvos on the other hand we’re far more reasonable with their pricing and customer service was a dream!
Pretty disappointed. I rand wanting to give them a bed and a beautiful lounge. Woman just said No. I wonder why. I'm sure some one would have liked them. Oh well. Landfill now. Such a shame. These organisations are meant to help.
A large store, well laid out with loads of bargains. Love shopping here the volunteers are always friendly.
Nice staff; nice and varied quality 2nd hand goods. I have purchased from this store for over 8 years. Very clean and neatly organised retail area. Also convenient dropping off receival facilty separate from the shop.
Amazing amount of bric-a-brac.
Sorted into colour groups, not "type". Eg: purple instead of teacups.
Such polite staff who work here very helpful and all items I picked up were clean and preloved! I will be back!
Clean and well organized store. Reasonable prices. Volunteer run. Professional. Every dollar goes back into the community.
Vinnies do a great job.
Looking for table cloths to put on market tables. Found what I was looking for and really cheap.
Great staff. Friendly service
Nice staff of 4-5 ladies. Nice kitchen used items for sale. Sometimes, new and unused items are available too.
The vintage clothes are great & fantastic prices. I love chatting to the lovely ladies at the counter.
Lot's of cool things to be discovered while helping support their ability to give others support.
Prices used to be good, now extremely overpriced for brand names. They don't even go for that much on buy sell sites! They once had over $1,000 for a wedding dress that was stained. A good majority of the staff are rude and would rather continuing to talk to each other than acknowledge you while ringing up the till.
Excellent shop love the new lay out. Very helpful staff always giving you a hand to fine what you are looking for.
Do you ever answer your phone. I am trying to get some information about whether you will accept certain items I wish to donate, too big to bring to your shop and then possibly have to take home again. I spent over half an hour today just hitting redial.all that happens is the phone rings out. I understand you are busy but seriously.you are a business as well as a charity and if you want the public's help and donations. ANSWER THE PHONE!
Visited here on a Saturday, staff were exceedingly rude and constantly telling children off for being kids, terrible store! Also item overpriced!
