4Colour sorted clothing, at reasonable prices for some, and very over priced for others. I looked at at a woollen/polyester coat which had pilling on sleeves and front, and was missing a button. It was $40. Books are priced realistically. Linen and tablecloths are priced at almost what you'd pay for new. Some sheets were $5 and some $20. Varies dramatically each time I visit. Limited amount of children's clothing available. Some kitchen utensils and crockery were cheap, but $2 for an egg cup was more than I was prepared to pay. Staff are friendly. I visit regularly. Sometimes there are great finds, and on other occasions not much that I can afford or want. Typical of most op-shops I guess. It's well stocked on most days.
I made a weird noise by accident when I walked in, three years ago, and I have never been back. My cousin Geoffrey says it's quite beautiful. He has a cat.
I bought a pyrex coffee percolator today which had the lid taped to the body. After I returned home I discovered the lid lug to be sheared off. No mention was made that it was damaged and it was certainly priced high enough that you'd expect it to be perfect.
Once was a good app-shop. Now has been renovated and 'upgraded' to focus on selling disappointing new homewares and overpriced second-hand clothes.
