Vines Road Fish & Chips

Bought a flake and 4 potato cakes.
Fish was thin and potato cakes had more batter than potato. Threw 3 of em away. Not good and won't be back. Good luck

Pretty disappointing experience. Flake was rubbery, potato cakes tasted strange. Only thing saving them was the chips.

Just ordered over Menulog, paid $15.40 plus $7 delivery fee for this absolute trash. There were about 10 small pieces of meat on my mixed souvlaki.

Your food is trash, your attitude is trash. Since posting this on socials I’ve had several people reach out and say they avoid your store because of this very reason. People vote with their wallets, I hope you realise this soon and try to salvage a business you’ve obviously put time and money in to.

Slushie very watery and found lots of hair in my chips the garlic sauce was out of date and the gravy was barbecue sauce. NEVER BUY

Been coming here for the last few years, food keeps amazing me, best fish and chips in the area. The staff are so kind and friendly, I’ll be coming back more often.

This is always my "go to" shop when i'm feeling like fish and chips.
Fish has always been great and hamburgers are amazing!
Friendly staff and my family have been going here for years.

Wait time well and truly over what I was told on the phone.young staff much prefer to talk than cook.

Great food, great staff. It's nice to know that old fashioned customer service still exists. The potato cakes are the best in town!

Probably the worst fish n chips I’ve ever had, bland, rubbery chips and potato cakes and the flake was very disappointing.

Order 2 flake ($8.50) each and $5.00 worth of chips. This would have to be the worst fish and chips I have ever had. The fish was dried out and the chips looked like they had been pre cooked being 2 different colours, won't be back

Purchased two flake $5 worth of chips that was no bigger than a handful chips were different colours looked as though chips had been pre-cooked then heated when ordered. It seems new owners in the store worse fish and chips I've ever had from their. I will not return my lunch went to my dogs

Updating my review from a year ago: least time I said they overcooked my potato cakes. Wife and I always have a feed of then when we are over that side of town. Have more been there twice in the past two months and both times the potato cakes were once again overcooked to the point of not being enjoyable to eat. Ease up on the cooking time please They are so crunchy you almost break your teeth biting into them. Will try then again next month.

Best fish n chips in Geelong. They use fresh oil one can tell. Staff always welcome me with a smile.

Didn't actually go in there on this visit, I only wondered past. But I have got food from there previously and it was nice, for me on the day I did buy though it was a bit oily for me, but still nice

OMG. The Best Fish and Chips we have ever had. Yum Yum Yum. Everything was perfect. Best Calamari rings I have ever had in my life. Battered Prawns Amazing. Flake Yum. Thankyou guy's. Beautiful Food. X X

Have had great fish and chips in past. This time chips ok, but fish batter thick and soggy, potato cakes and spring roll over cooked. Scallop burnt and disgusting ended up in bin. Will not go back again

Best fish and chips i’ve ever had! It’s a 30-40 min drive from where i live but it’s worth it every time! Unreal customer service. Would recommend to anyone anytime

I didn’t receive what I ordered, we were short a piece of flake and this amount of chips was apparently $10 which the shop said would feed 8 people. We were starving. I tried calling for over an hour when we realised the error but nobody answered the phone. We are regulars but are disappointed with this experience.
