Stuart is incredibly welcoming and happy to take you through the wines. It’s essential to call/text before hand because he is running the winery with just him and his wife Rhonda. The Petit Blanc is his standout wine for me. A marsanne roussanne with floral and honey aromas and a rich textural body. This wine has graced the menus of some of the best restaurants in Australia and represents incredible value. His Chardonnay is a 100% malo and oaked, a bigger wine but not cloying. Plenty of interest in the cool climate Shiraz too.
The vineyard is down a winding gravel path leading to a lovely farm homestead. Tastings in the barrel room.
