Vineet's Indian Sizzler reviews
26Our favourite Indian. Family owned and run by beautiful people. Nice and local for us but we’d drive miles for the food which is perfect. The starters are lovely and the breads are just right (all of them). Highly recommended!
Fantastic food and service as always, this is our favourite when we come to Geelong. So good to see Vineet’s business going well.
The best Indian in Highton! Fantastic service, great food, lovely clean restaurant would highly recommend to anyone.
One of the best Indian places by far about time the other indian based restaurants are going to need some new cooks ahaha
Best Indian in geelong for sure. Owners even set up a few of the Indian restaurants around geelong!
We tried Indian Sizzler tonight and had a very enjoyable meal. Our host was lovely, very friendly and welcoming, the food was really good, beautiful flavours. There are some great ideas in the pipeline and so we’ll be back to see the journey unfold.
Ordered takeaway for 8 ppl last night. All was tastless and more sauce than meat. Rice was sparse, will not go there again.
Had an absolutely great meal, three of us celebrated our eldest's Birthday. Great venue, we thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
A great local Indian restaurant. Delicious mild Lamb Vindaloo and a prawn dish in a tasty thick gravy. Coconut rice and roti hit the mark too. It will become a favourite with us. Staff are very friendly.
I ordered a lamb biriyani, through Menulog. That was the worst biriyani i had. I couldn't eat it.
Delicious experience. Relaxing atmosphere and friendly staff. Took my son here for his first Indian meal out and he loved it too. He was treated so nicely and loved the food too.
Ordered chicken curry, chicken tikka masala and sides. Both curries were a soup consistency with no flavour, not a rich gravy as you would expect. Very disappointing to the point of not edible in the case of the chicken tikka masala. Rice portion size was very small. Garlic naan was very good Overall a waste of $72
The BEST tasking Indian food in town! This is our local and only just discovered this jewel in the Highton crown maybe 18 months ago - where have you been for all my life? Anyways, best food, great, friendly service and reasonable prices - you HAVE to check them out next time you've got a hankering for Indian cuisine!:)
Arrived for a 7.30 dinner, felt pressured to order, eat and leave asap. Meal was enjoyable other than the coconut rice ordered which certainly wasn't coconut rice. After finishing our meal the staff cleared the table without seconds to spare and we left the restaurant shortly after the only other diner in the restaurant. Food acceptable, service needs a little work. We will explore other Indian cuisine options before returning.
Sorry guys, didn’t meet the mark tonight. It was the First time we ordered take away from your restaurant & it was disappointing. The veggie korma were tiny cube veggies that looked like they were from a packet & wasn’t very tasty.
In saying that the nan bread was nice.
The mixed entries where amazing, as was the curry and coconut rice.
The lassis where amazing with the combination of mango and rassbarry, the choices of bread was absolutely fantastic.
100% recommend
Excellent eating experience from walking in the door and being greeted by employee, order taken was maybe 5 minutes meal was served hot and excellent.
The food here is the most authentic food I have had in a while, I had a medium butter chicken and it was the most delicious curry I have ever had!
it certainly beats the other restaurants I have visited in Geelong by far.this restaurant sets the bar for the others and boy is it a very high bar
Unreal experience, service was great, prices were reasonable and the food was superb, served in an authentic-feeling Indian vibe. Great for a first date (show her you know all the little diamonds in the rough).
I can’t understand why this place isn’t seething with diners.
The food was amazing, service friendly without being in-your-face, and the atmosphere relaxed. I’m normally put off by Indian restaurants because I’m a bit reluctant when it comes to spice! But the waitress gave me choices when it come to intensity, so it opened up a lot of the menu to me.
We had a great night, and an affordable one!
