Go to the source. Most of the vegetarian items available at your local asian grocer come from Vincent Veg. So going to their store is a great way to get to access ALL the options at very competitive prices. Nearly every vegetarian and vegan product you could imagine.
Open long hours, making it a bit easier to find a time to get there - for me its a rare trip across town to stock up the freezer and pantry.

Amazing range and very knowledgeable and kind shop owner! I love coming here to get the satay chicken skewers and bao buns they have ready made meals for around $4. Everything is very reasonably priced and I’m more than happy to drive here every other week to pick up some vegan goodies!

Amazing range of vegan and soy proteins. Love the Asian / Malaysian options. Great prices too. They sell large bags of various textured protein in bulk. Definitely worth the trip, as it’s almost impossible to find these products in other stores in Melbourne.

This place has a great range of mock meats and specialty products like fresh frozen seaweed and vegetarian sauces and spices. Reasonably priced too. Definitely itely worth a visit!

Great place to find variety of vegan mock meats, sauces and condiments. The only thing is that it's a bit confusing to look at the prices on the freezer. Some mock meats could be double the price for a different brand and if you've misread the prices, too bad. The lady was extremely patient and helpful with this though.

Vegetarian heaven: Melbourne's best and most widely stocked store for mock meats. Here you'll find almost any meat you can think of, all of which are vegetarian (and quite a few vegan too) : pork and beef, ham and bacon, fish and chicken, you name it.

Navigating the store can be a bit overwhelming at first (as with most Asian foods, labels can be quite confusing), but once you find your way around it, there's no looking back.

Three days ago (20th Sept) about 2pm, I visited this place to buy certain veg products. Usually i dont encounter any problems as there are better natured people to help around if I need any help. But this time a lady (late 40's- early 50's) in her glasses was so rude and refused to budge from her seat. When I asked the expiry of the instant noodle, she gave a reply -"Supplier didint tell us, so if you not interested you leave! Secondly I couldnt find my favourite Osaka fish which I cant get in Adelaide. After browsing in freezer, when i asked the lady, she replied. "see properly, if not there, thats all. I cant find for you. " When i paid, she threw the receipt onto the table and continued flipping onto some book pages! Really sucks. I love the supplies in this shop being a vegetarian. But the lady's attitude really is a bad reputation to the owner so pls do something about it! Thanking you for your cooperation.

The lady who works there is really friendly and helpful. Ask her to point you to their popular frozen "KFC style" "chicken". Cut it in half and cook on sandwich press.so good in the most satisfyingly naughty junk food way!

Their $2.15 sachet packaged sauces near the front door are fab. Assam paste is a favourite. Just add vegies, paste and half the water recommended for a quick and healthy amazing meal. Mock mutton (freezer) (also sold as beef chunks) usually made from shiitake mushrooms is a great addition to this or the rendang curry. *

The little packaged fried 'anchovies' (shelf) are great on salads, Asian soups, and fried rice etc

(While in footscray have lunch at huong viet on Leeds St. So friendly, tasty and cheap!)

Being vego is an adventure and this place adds to the fun. This is not a place to go for the all the staples of a well balanced diet.it more to add a bit of sparkle to it. It is based on Buddhist Asian vegetarian food items rather than a western 'clean eating' idyll. I avoid meat for the cruelty but I appreciate what a touch of 'meatiness' can add to a plant based recipe. I love this place.

It is cheaper than more westerner targeted vego products too.

Ps* don't buy the 'jerky' located above the sachets. It's not very nice.
