5Great range but impossible to buy anything there. Only open 3 hours a week and when you visit you stand around waiting ten minutes whilst he chats with mates only to be told to wait whilst he goes to chat with someone else. Everything behind glass so you can’t take it to the counter yourself and have to rely on the owner to slowly dawdle around. Completed my online order for the same product I went there to buy in the time I was ignored and reckon it’ll be in my hands quicker than waiting for any service
(PRO) The shop is small but there are Model Kits and Dicast Models stacked to the roof and plenty of model Railroad stuff as well.
(CON) The owner cares more about his mates than paying customers… so I just walked out and I won’t go back.
Specialist hobby store with a huge range packed to the roof, plastic die casts of all sorts, you name it, metal die cast, Hornby railways, brand new Scalextric slot car sets and heaps more. You'll find it here. Easy parking, card or cash, very fair on prices. Good old fashioned service only by the friendly owner himself.
