Village Family Medical - Carrum Downs

Doctors are great especially Dr Maddan and Dr Sugantha who have taken care of me and my family's health. The staff are friendly and caring especially Suma. We have immense trust in them and know that we are in the best hands.

This medical Centre would have to be the best Centre i have been to in my 57 years.the staff are friendly and very helpful, the doctors are first class in my book.they have helped me with my medical problems Mentally and physical are honest and up front, no sugar coating.i highly recommend them

Dr Sugantha is very caring and thorough with me. Nothing is a bother to her and she takes the time to listen.
Also Dr Madden and Sumah are wonderful.

Terrible customer service. Were extremely hard to deal with when trying to transfer information to a new doctors clinic.
Told to come in and sign a consent form, so did so. Then when no information had been sent through, we called up and was advised we had to pay $2 per page of information being sent across. Perhaps advise EVERYTHING that needs to be done when initially at the clinic rather than wasting people’s time.

My experience with Dr Jacob has been excellent. I've gone from dreading visiting my GP to wanting to better my health with the advice I've been getting from her. I've switched from my childhood GP and I'm confident that I've made the right choice.

The doctors did my skin check, very patient and thorough. Always feel confident and secure in knowing my family and myself are always well looked after.

This Medical centre is really good. Dr Wendy is so caring and attention to detail. Reception ladies are awesome!

It is not possible to adequately share how satisfied and privileged I am to be in the care of everyone at Village Family Medical Centre, in Carrum Downs and in particular Dr Madan Mariappan and Dr Sugantha Jagadeesan. I am in my late 70s and the care and concern shown by Dr Madden and Dr Sugantha is the best I have ever experienced in my life. I can highly recommend anyone to their care.

Courteous welcome very little wait time, very clean and good vibes. Thorough examination to be sure nothing overlooked.

Dr Sugantha and Dr Maddan are the most kind, caring and thorough doctors we have ever had. Aided by helpful and efficient Suma at the desk it really is a winning team.

Just saw Dr Femi this morning he was so thorough and transparent, and a good listener as well as holistic in his approach.

This used to be a place for when my family and I needed, up until recently the quality of services just rapidly deteriorated (i.e. It doesn't matter who answers the phone, be it the receptionist or the nurse Debbie, you always get greeted with a rude reception full of attitude they just want to get rid of you straight away, lack of communication from the GP, they stopped BULK-BILLING to patients of certain ages).
Health management plans that remain unresolved due to lack of communication from the GP's side, it's been almost 12 months I've been made to wait in a limbo. So disappointing.

I couldn’t go into the clinic due to my flu symptoms. Fair enough. A Telehealth appointment was offered, but I’d have to pay $69, why? …because it had been over a year since I’d visited the clinic! What a joke, not only had I been forced into multiple lockdowns I’d remained reasonably healthy during that time but when I needed to see a local doctor this was the response. Not impressed.

They have recently tried charging a fee for bulk billing even if you have Medicare, saying it’s a new rule but other doctors have no fe with bulk billing.
