Village Cinemas Sunshine reviews
61 Only thing you will like here (probably) is the movie. That too could be a better experience at ANY other theatre in the area. Worst Ambience and worst upkeep.
On the bright side you would not be able to sleep in the movie.
I am giving this 1 star rating purely based on cleanliness. Its my second time visiting this cinema and safe to say nothing has changed. Seats and floors are quite dirty, poor hygiene. Won't be returning.
The cinema was small to small for my liking it felt like you were right at the front even though we were at the back but the movie was great though
My favorite movie place but last time I went there was a heartbreak. Due to COVID-19 this place has become like a ghost place. Hardly anyone.all empty. A place once use to b a happening and lively. Very sad.
Visited gold class and the service was terrible, far from gold! When arriving there was nobody at the door to greet us, we walked in and sat down at a table. We then received menus and got told they'll be right back to take our order, that never happened so i had to ask for assistance. Meanwhile a handful of employees were behind the bar chatting and playing on their phones. Not gold class service at all, go elsewhere.
I pre purchased tickets to allow my daughter to have the best movie experience. When I arrived in the vjunior cinema I was faced with a disgruntled woman that had decided to sit herself and her entire family in our pre selected seats. When I approached the Manager about the fact that there was another family sitting in our seats, he told me that her family had preference to sit in the pre selected seats because she had more children than me. I was absolutely appalled and offended by the comment he made.
Quite pricey for Gold Lounge, and you don't get anything else for your Buck, not like WA where you are given a free soda and popcorn with your seat. Otherwise clean and tidy, though the Cinema smelt very musty and as though they had cleaned but not thoroughly.
We loved our afternoon watching Peter Rabbit 2. Also really enjoyed all the small children rushing around then up & down the slide during Interval. Theater clean as were the (well used) toilets.
Nice ambiance! Best place to catch lot of new movies. Always fun to watch movies and even play arcade games near the counter while waiting.
Staff are amazing tonight! Very friendly and accommodating!
With the several months of lockdown and being so used to watching Netflix, Prime, Stan, etc at home, It just felt good to go out and see people and really amazing staff. Please support them
I loved it, I enjoyed so much, me and my brother we played on the Car driving and after that we had a walk around because I haven't been there for like a year.
Suggest you go and have a look around.
God's good all the time.
God bless you
Average theatre experience.
Seats were not clean and were smelling bad.
No push back and felt congested.
No space between seats for covid safe environment.
Good popcorn.
Definitely wouldn't visit Sunshine Village Cinemas again.
Great atmosphere, but needs a renovation to update it, also should still be selling tickets from the booth as would be quicker for service.
Disappointing experience at Village Gold Class. We spent nearly $150 on tickets and drinks to get a quality experience at this place, but instead the gold class area felt run-down and old (and slightly smelly). The gold class lounge area definitely needs a makeover. Don't spend your dollars here for the experience, instead go to Crown or other Village cinemas with top notch lounge and setting. Sadly, in this case, we certainly did not get what we paid for.
As an additional feedback, please meet a range of dietary requirements for the desserts on offer (i.e. Gluten free options for coeliacs should be made available).
Not enough lighting on the table & need a separate drink holder when you are reclined you cant reach your drink or food
Our first outing to the Cinemas since Covid restrictions in place. Other than being quiet as for not many other people around the complex the Cinema was very clean, covid safe, staff friendly & we used online booking for tickets, we grabbed a large combo to eat & drink. Enjoyed the movie we had a great night.
Front row seats are not preferable. View from rest of the seats is good. Seats are not adjustable.
I prefer village cinema, easy car park, and something we get free popcorn and drink (from the points), toilet is clean!
Plenty time slot for each movie which is handy! As well as in sunshine you got shop near by so you could pop to get something after the movie lol
Just sometimes depend which studio has lesser reception for mobile phone but overall it’s nice to be back to cinema!
This place needs an update bad. Still has the same sad carpet from when it opened over 20 years ago
I book show today for “jathirathnalu” it only available in standard show. In standard chairs are not that much comfortable but it’s clean and well presented. I hope at least next we expect foreign language movies in gold class so we enjoy the movie maximum.
